7:53 as a Greek who writes in cursive and absolutely no one can understand it, I suppose my handwriting literally is byzantine scribbles. Also yes, it is absolutely based to encourage Cyrillic in Serbia, we should rid ourselves of the Latin plague that spread it shelf as a backwave of European colonialisation and use writing systems actually designed from the ground up to fit any given language, and revive old ones

⬇️Pointless handwriting story.👇Totally conjecture, but I think there's a window during kids' development when improving handwriting is way more easier, kinda like picking up languages is easier before a certain age. Growing up, writing was all done on computer, and my handwriting was pretty awful. In my early 20s I was sent to prison for 7 years and only used pen and paper, but my handwriting barely improved. However, similarly aged working class guys from Latin/South America without computers growing up, almost all had impeccable penmanship.
@mrbanana6464

I don't know how true that is, but I do know that practice trumps all else when it comes to handwriting. It doesn't matter how old you are, anyone can improve their handwriting if they spend a few hours a week practicing with the intent of improving their writing. It's not enough to write, every stroke has to be deliberate and you must write for consistency. I know a guy whose parents made them practice their writing for hours on the weekend in high school and their handwriting significantly improved.

Growing up I got shamed for being a girl with ugly handwriting, because all girls had cute handwriting, except me. My handwriting only got better when I was around 17 years old
@lordeastwood

I felt like my handwriting has improved over time and only depends on the type of pen. If it's one of those normal ballpoints, it sucks but if it's a finer pointed pen, then it looks impeccable. Even if my handwriting is always somewhat small

i almost uniquely write cursive (cyrillic). not good, mind you, but i just grew up with cursive and a good 70% of people use print instead. ive managed to somehow shift into print-cursive mish-mash.

Medicine "Doctors" don't have a PhD normally and Hakim mentioned residency. They get a bachelor in medicine and a specialization in a field, which they call residency or a "medicine doctor" for tradition. Very rare for them to even get a masters, since it already takes a long time to finish the residency. The pay for a medic is normally high enough that a masters is unnecessary for those outside of academia. That said, as someone in post graduation, handwritting has gone out of my mind. Having to write a 250 page dissertation and 400 page thesis is already hard enough on a keyboard, with delete, copy, cut and paste. Doing it by hand would just cause the antidepressants cease to work. Then again, the anxiety gives some of us the shakes, so it likely happens to medics too. Spend enough time in university and you no longer write in paper if you can avoid it.

Since I'm not smart enough to comment on most things, I'll be commenting on something useless. Most people with your name, Hakim, in the US that I've seen have been spelled "Hakeem," so people aren't used to seeing "Hakim." I still think this is dumb, understandable but dumb, because it feels intuitive to me.

Hey comrades, my life is at the moment at a turning point and I need your advice. I have some more days to apply for university, and don't know which study course I shall take. In the future I want to contribute to the revolution in some way or another. That's my only wish. The question now: Which study course would you recommend me attend at university? I have thought about political sciene, sociology, (cultural and social) anthropology, psychology and philosophy, economics, but recently I thought of history as well. But what do you guys think, what's the best study course for someone who wants to devote him-/herself to the revolution? Thanks for your help! Have a nice day :)

Hot take: You guys should probably try to get Jordan Shanks a.k.a. Friendly Jordies into this podccast. I know for a record this would sound controversial in some respect due to his rather conservative social position, esp. his cringe albeit occasional anti-woke tirade where he often resorts into picking up a strawman. Yet, his socio-economic position re:Australian domestic and foreign policy seems based as hell, esp. over matters such as labor rights and empowerments (dude's a fervent Labor supporter there, it seems🤔🤔), anti-corruption watch on those conservative LNP politicians, environmental advocation and anti-imperialism. Speaking about anti-imperialism, his video where he exposed the evidences of war crime committed by Indonesian military against Papuan resistances in the disputed West Papua, in coordination with Australian military, which involved a number of Australian interests on the region is a must-watch for those who haven't.

Ausssies have always sided with the Americans. Want my opinion as a fellow citizen of the "COMMONWEALTH" the answer is England. Our residual sociopolitical ties mixed with preexisting integrated infrastructure just made the economic incentive to further develop alongside the western economies. Especially since as a white country they have way less baggage to get over than other countries like Kenya or Singapore for example.
