Also to our dear boy Hakim - the indengous peoples of these lands don't generally prefer being called 'Native Americans' - Indians is generally the prefered term for all collective of all groups, which is strange when I write it out, as all of the peoples of our beautiful longitudinal lands are very, very varied, especially over time - its difficult to refer to them as one collective at all, unless you're speaking more broadly about humanity in general.
@anmolt3840051 Жыл бұрын
Why though? Don't they know India is an actual country with actual people?
@ericktellez7632 Жыл бұрын
Define “of these lands” if by that you mean in the US and Canada then sure, however remember that a country like Mexico has more native Americans than both Canada and the US combined, so does Peru, Guatemala, Bolivia and many others and the natives in those places do not use “indian” because it was a commonly used pejorative against native Americans, they go by their group’s name or indigenous people
@blessedandbiwithahintofmagic Жыл бұрын

Yeah, that would be interesting. I feel like under socialism there would both be more opportunity and more support for disabled people. Like, there would be more of an emphasis on finding disabled people a productive place in society, vs. capitalism where it's just like "lol find a job." Also of course the necessities to live decently would be provided. It would be great for showing the pros of socialism and the cons of capitalism.

However I chose veganism out of dogma, and not just logic. I chose to accept that even though they were annoying, they weren't parasites and they weren't endangering my existence yet. I grew up on a farm where I was pretty much the sole caretaker of a flock of chickens and I LOVE the dumb little bastards. At one time I had around 50 or so birds I was in direct care of. Their prey animals through and through. I’ve never seen an animal act MORE like they’re trained for an active shooter drill. A hawk would fly over head and they’d cock their heads to the side and run for cover. They take dust baths where they’ll just lay in the dirt and kick up a cloud of dust before rolling in it. Broody hens are utterly hilarious, deranged little beasts that literally have to be separated from the flock in a little crate until their instincts finally let them start eating again. I’ve also never seen any animal engage in as much lesbianism than a flock of chickens. Is it an act of dominance? Yes. But it’s also very homosexual of them. The meanest little shit of a rooster I ever had once attacked my infant sister in the back of her tiny bald head while she was just sitting on the ground minding her own business. That rooster survived until 16 and outlived his entire bloodline of children (of which the bastard had many) until my grandpa, while he was dying, finally got sick and tired of the beast and culled it. There’s quite possibly nothing I enjoy more than just sitting outside and watching chickens do their thing.
