The difference, as I understand, is Chris' charges got dragged down in a lot of legal crap, which was not helped by his mother being unable (or refusing) to testify, the police not having any clear evidence beyond Chris violating an emergency protection order, his lawyer convincing him not to incriminate himself further, and the limitation of how long the state could keep him in jail on unproven charges eventually expiring. Daniel's situation, by contrast, is much more cut-and-dry due to all of his online threats, his longer criminal record, and having a literal Secret Service agent keeping tabs on his case.

Chris's situation was vastly different from Larson's Chris was charged with incest not s.a., a misdemeanor which carries a max of 1 yr in jail if found guilty. Chris was in custody for two years so even if he was found guilty, he would have been let out with time served. From what I understand (take this with a grain of salt) there simply wasn't enough evidence to bring charges against him for s.a. Daniel however has solid proof he threatened to blow up facilities and made threats against various targets.

It takes a special type of sadistic and sociopathic personality type to do these things to someone that’s not only dealing with mental health issues, but intellectual deficits as well. Watched the entire thing. The troll at the end was pathetic. He kept painting himself as a hero and told Daniel to learn his lesson and that he was a 20 year old "kid. No, you are an adult too and you manipulated a mentally ill person for years and pretended to be his friend and you tormented him. You made it seem that Grace was 50/50 in the relationship at times and you used Ai to use her actual voice. Not defending Daniel cause he definitely needs to be locked up, but the trolls are as bad, if not worse, than him. Especially those that followed him and said they were Secret Service, or CiA, or FBi, and that he was under surveillance. He has Schizophrenia and so you're feeding into his delusions cause they already believe that people are out to get them if they follow them too close at a grocery store and they are off their medication. So to confront him like this is adding fuel to the fire. It amazes me that Daniel wasn't locked up a lot sooner and was only treated as a psycho when he was really sick deep down and few were trying to get him locked up to protect himself from society and to protect others. The people that just threw soda in his face, followed him and recorded him when his Schizophrenia was bad, antagonized him. Etc, are terrible to society.

stupid nit picking thing but I do believe there was a timeout room he was put in 100% 😭 as someone who went through the mental health system for yearsssss (for various reasons & symptoms, including aggression). especially as a teen, that’s definitely a thing that I have experienced myself (and yes mine was made out of some type of brick but didn’t have a window to see outside). I guess it does sound outlandish to someone who has never experienced it before though..

While I will never condone or excuse his actions, I cannot help but feel that Daniel got mixed in with the wrong crowd in the most extreme way. The man has the mindset of a child, obviously needs help, and countless people are willing to take advantage of that at his expense. And it sucks, because under all the bullshit, I can see a guy who likes life. I've only heard snippets of his songs, and while they're not the greatest thing in thy world, there is legit talent there. Like... I almost wonder if trolls hadn't decided to go the way they did, maybe he could have gone bigger in some areas. I see his outbursts here, and hear people laughing... I can't help but wish they'd all back off. They broke his mind and reality. What more do they want? Again, none of this excuses his behavior. I just really really hope someone can give him actual help.

My blood boiled the moment he was attracted to those poor two girls he was obsessed with, it's so nasty and they didn't deserve that. Now I get admiration and liking them for their talents and supporting them, but Jesus... can't blame one of their families filing a restraining order against him. The fact that he keeps claiming every time something happened wasn't his fault and he was just "defending himself" when he started things first, along with the poor dog being treated horribly pissed me off too. I've had a mom like that in the past where she blamed everything on me and threatened me with resending me to a mental hospital I went to years ago if I didn't stop talking back to her and started taking her shit with my mouth zipped. I've also had pets my entire life, ever since I was a young kid and even now I own a pet cat that's practically my baby and anything that happens to her like being sick after eating causes me to spiral into anxiety, and that poor dog was getting neglected and you could tell just based on her posture and ears. I despise people who neglect/harm animals, it makes me sick. It literally makes me depressed when I can't help animals in need, like stray ones needing food and such. When I was young, my parents pulled a AB group situation where they took a neighborhood cat in because his owners weren't taking care of him at all so they just literally fed him, adopted him, renamed him, and kept him as a pet for years, and seeing him have that dog like in that situation reminded me of my childhood... it made me feel sick with pure dread, I'm glad the people at the shelter saw something was off about him and that group got the pup away from him. I hope Music found/finds a good foster home, what a sweet pupper. I'd adopt her if I could, but I don't live anywhere close to the area and even if I did, I'd feel bad for having such a big dog in a small apartment. The fact he assumed she was a guard dog because of her breed is just stupid, not all german shepherds or pitbulls or those kinds of dogs are made for those jobs, most are pets unless specifically trained to attack/guide. The shelter probably would have stated on her bio/info that she was used as a guard/service dog in the past if it was true. This guy is literally so mentally unhinged and unmedicated, it's not even funny and he's a literal danger to society. If he's willing to destroy property and abuse animals, he's gonna end up physically hurting actual people down the line (if he hasn't already)...
