The Deregulation Act 2015, very timely for consumers!

Due to the continued advancement in Information Technology, insured will no longer be committing a criminal offence in cases where a motor insurance policy is cancelled mid-term and fails to return the certificate of insurance. In the UK, the above 2015 Act removes the legal requirement for return of the document and not doing so is no longer a criminal offence.
