@@Suki-xu9xs Well from history we can establish that there are ancient and old Abrahamic Texts which share commonalities with the Qur’an. Basically its like a clear evidence the word Firdaus, Paradise, Paradesios, Jahannam, Gehennom etc has been mentioned in ancient history which is a proof the Qur’an didnt just “‘make it up”

Touching on what sheikh said even if we were to accept or give an ear to evolution...evolution doesnt explain the origin of life its merely an attempt to explain how life evolved /changed and adapted ...it explains the change...not the origin or where life came from
@linguaLatinae4 жыл бұрын
Religion doesn’t explain where everything came from either. It just switches the topic. Writing in a book "In the beginning was god" doesn’t explain anything…
@mubashirkhan68814 жыл бұрын
@@linguaLatinae it does, the explanation is God the creator, outside of God you have it came from nothing, it has an endless amount of causes (infinite regress problem) or it created itself which is a paradox. Ive watched more than enough debates and arguments to know that the atheists have nothing to offer at all in terms of a coherent explanation and so the best fitting and most rational to me is a creator who willed to bring into existence the universe and everything in it. The creator is the necessary existance and everytjing else is contingent. For a further detailed explanation maybe watch mohammed hijab or speakers corner debates.

@@linguaLatinae well that is actually technically true therefore there wasn't just a "book"(Quraan) that came into the world there were many many a people (Prophets) that was sent with glorious teachings to implement and show in order to practice from and gain knowledge from so we could understand the real meaning to why we even were placed on this earth to begin with. In the Quraan Allah himself challenged the people of this world and said write even a line of it and make it sense will u be able to? Not one person has been able to put together what that states, each word each sentence is so beautiful articulated and put together that once you started reading it and actually examining it your mind won't even be able to comprehend it. Try it. I challenge you open this up and read the translation and then come back to me and tell me is that a man made text? Open your heart and mind to the truth and you will for sure find it!
@syedashah9244 жыл бұрын
@@linguaLatinae also like Yasir Qadhi said in one of his videos every religion has some type of belief of heaven and hell and if you look at majority of religions there are many similar words derived whether that is in the form of changing the word to sound different or all the same meanings. Therefore one should look at this critically and think at the end of the day so many religions yet words and meanings that narrow down to same aspects? Where does it come from? It started from somewhere right? The root cause was something right? There was a root and then their became many branches of faith, whereas the roots never changed the branches kept reforming so lets alll go as far back as we can and see where it occured from. There is only 1 root and if u study any religion on this entire world it will keep taking u to islam leading u only to the one and only The Majestic the Creator, the Lord of this world❤

My first research led me to believe that the word is indeed from Gehenna. But I was unable to be certain about it, because the word does not seem to have Semitic makeup, and a meem popping up in the word while Arabic can most accurately render it جهنة and avoid the meem in the end (though it may have been done to avoid giving the word a meaning from root jeem-haa-nuun and I am not sure if this root even is used in Arabic). One day I heard that it is from Persian and means 'torture chamber', and suddenly every ayah I know having the word jahannam became more lively for me, that indeed they have the elements of torture chamber. Also that Perisan does have words like shabnam and the word itself sounds more Persian than Semitic. After listening to your lecture, my belief is that Allah Brought this word to use in a way that both the semitic and the persian can understand. The semitic will see the word referring to Gehenna the valley of fiery punishment, while the persian will see the word having an actual meaning of a torture chamber and therefore see the chains, cuffs, and however prison torture works. We can combine the two as Quran does in my opinion: Fiery punishment with prison torture elements. Commenting at 28:57
