This year, The Norwich Society, The Norfolk Association of Architects and Civic Voice once again collaborated to host the Design and Craftsmanship Awards - biennial awards inspired by previous awards run by the organisers to celebrate outstanding buildings and places in Norfolk.
The 2021 awards were judged across categories - Housing, Non-Residential, Conservation and Community as well as an inaugural Student award, with the judging criteria particularly looking at aspects of design, craftsmanship, sustainability and community. The Sir Bernard Feilden Award was also presented by The Norwich Society in recognition of excellence in alterations and restoration of a historic building in Norwich.
The award ceremony for the 2021 Design and Craftsmanship Awards took place on 14th October 2021 at The Assembly House, and this video looks at the projects which received awards and commendations.
