That would hurt the integrity of this collection though…. Much better to divide it by era. Those periods already have their own collections

I’ve been more focused on Marvel omnis, but I always wanted these stories reprinted. This era of DC between the golden and silver age (atomic age?) was always intriguing to me. I’m going to have to dip my toes back into the DCU for this one.

Showcase 4 in 1956 (the 1st Barry Allen, Flash) is generally regarded as the beginning of the Silver Age. So the bulk of these stories move from the end of the Golden Age (1952) to the beginnings of the Silver Age (1959).

Of course it is a standard sized hardcover because DC will never allow us to have a collection of their comics in a consistent format. 😊 For the price, I would have picked this up if it was a deluxe edition. I also would have jumped at a cheap TPB.
