But there is a reason, and whether that reason is Goff or the play calling or folding under pressure, or all, I have no doubt that they will spend all off season trying to fix that problem. I cant wait, so many analysts are talking about how if washington keeps it close that they will win and I just keep shaking my head. This washington team is ranked 30th in rush defense and wagner is roughed up with a ankle injury but still gonna play. If we can run on them then we will also slice and dice them off play action and put up at least high 30s. They put up 23 on tampa and got lucky. As for our defense they keep bringing up the bills game. Mind you that game, not saying we didnt wanna win it but it was a game that didnt really matter, non conference and even after losing we still got the one seed. With that said we went into that game without anzalone or our 3rd stout safety iffy and during that game lost mcneil and davis. What really killed us that game was the linebackers trying to cover ty johnson. Now we have our best cover/spy linebacker back, iffy back and rakestraw can play if needed. Id put rakestraw on their 3rd receiver, kerby and branch at safety and maybe put iffy as our 3rd linebacker for extra speed as a second spy or help covering ertz. But as for the bills game we are in such a better situation now. Detroit isn't losing this game, isnt gonna take more than 23 pts with a doinked fg to beat detroit.

Wagner hasn't practiced much this week either, resting his akle boo boo. You have to wonder how he'll respond physically to the cutting, slashing, and speed of Gibbs and Monty. Also, Daniels running is fair game for Kerby, Branch, Anzo, and Campbell to lay him out. Nothing dirty, just heavy hitting on that skinny QB.

@TrecksFN well the Lions did the best they can do, and I don't care if the Lions did have 18 players on IR there's no reason why that game should not have been closer and Jerry Goff gave that game away trying to do too much so.. The Lions probably have the best situation of any of the teams that got eliminated because all they have to do is get healthy figure out if they want to keep golf or not.. and that Brad Holmes cook this off-season and they'll be back on top.. I still feel the lions are a cheat code when fully to mostly healthy .. adjust the injuries caught them in beat them in the behind with facing a mobile quarterback and exposing them a lot like the bills did due to the injuries as well..
