Michael Knowles talks about Armenia a lot and how no one talks about the persecution of the Christian people there but we are all supposed to care about Ukraine/Russia and Israel/Palestine.
@Thunderrolls
@Thunderrolls Ай бұрын
That's right. Sadly, geopolitics and precedence have potty trained our leaders into behaving as sheep. So now, because Armenia was historically aligned with Russia/USSR, and the USA was opposed to them, unfortunately the US govt blindly supports Azerbaijan invading Armenia. The current US regime has such a hate boner against Russia, it cheers on the Azeris culturally cleansing parts of Armenia that Joe recently helped them invade through force. All the while, Joe's Looney Tunes go telling sob stories in great press wing of the White House [which we call the mainstream media], and begging for hundreds of billions of more money to send to Ukraine, where the exact same situation is playing out in reverse, where Joe gets to claim moral superiority, so it's important. Ya know, there's another precedent the USA has vis à vis Armenia. It has to do with our country avoiding formally, officially recognizing that the Armenian Genocide even occured. Can you guess what it is? Perhaps there's a reason why it was Brandon who eventually did "acknowledge" it, tangentially in a speech, only by comparing it as a lesser event to another, more famous genocide. Was this long overdue, yet flimsy admission just another slimy, political way of passifying the massive, patriotic, and beneficial population of the Armenian diaspora in the US, without actually taking any action, or even, in fact, properly acknowledging, the current problems facing Armenia now? In other words, was this irrelevant, lackluster, and 100 year late recognition of the world's passivity in the face of evil an underhanded way of ignoring evil again, as it has popped its head up again now? Was this oddly timed recognition of history a convenient way of removing our own blame for ignoring the history being made now?

I greatly appreciate the fact that you allow the video clips or guests to speak for themselves, and then you give insightful, well thought out analysis. 5:20 This is sad. This conversation about identity is so important. It’s one the elite tend to avoid in the West because right now diversity is our only allowed identity which is in conflict with the traditional identities of these various Western countries. It seems that in the modern day the en vogue method of conquering is to start by destroying a nation’s identity.

@@richardhoulton4016Turkish government took in Jewish refugees in WW2. People act like Muslims and Jews are the greatest enemies to each other and that Muslims want to kill Jews the most but forget what happened to Jews throughout history of Christian lands for over 1000 years. If there's anyone the Jews should be scared of it's christians. Name one Muslim leader that killed 1 million Jews let alone 6 million (and that in a time span of 10 years). Israel/Palestine is the only big issue that Muslim population has had with Jewish people in hundreds of years. And the only reason this issue exists is because of English empire (christian country) to begin with 😂. Point is: don't trust what media says blindly. Look into history and you'll see the facts.

I don't follow the line of thought here. Why would it make a bit of a difference to the world what the status of Christians is? It is just a religion, just like any other. Why not delve into something that has substance, like alternative fuel or something. Making religion the focus of your life is a fools errand...

One of the largest religions of the world, and the fact that Christians are actively being hunted in certain places in the world because they're Christians, and thank you for the opinion, but perhaps you just don't understand why people value religion in their lives. I think making 'things of substance' the priority in your life is a fool's errand, because everything dies and rots.

That's one view. The violent destruction of a culture and its people is wrong.
@sebwoz8766
@sebwoz8766 Ай бұрын
The alternative fuel debate typically has very little substance from those advocating it. There is definitely a time and a place for its use and/or research-&-development, but it is one of very many debatable issues. Very few people are motivated by such an issue. Religion, on the other hand, has been the strongest motivational force behind most wars, cultural development, and unity between racially diverse groups. It is only recently that secular people naively ignore this fact. Secular humanist materialism has had its fair run, but it has very little motivational force compared to the good religion or the evil ideology. People will seldom risk their lives for material comfort, but they will sacrifice their lives for what they believe to be the Ultimate Truth. In this more integrative perspective, debating which religion is the most true is of vital importance for our physical and spiritual destiny. Renewable energy may or may not play a meaningful role in that.
