It's confirmed. In this full quest, where Geralt travels into many worlds, content was planned into those. But It was way too much for such a little part of the story so It was cut.

@@lucashernandez6843 its crazy that in a 150h game they still had even more content planned. Meanwhile you see some 20 hours games struggle to keep their story interesting the whole time. It feels like they could have kept writting quests for witcher 3 forever and never run out of inspiration

Little did they know what an utter phenomenon this game would turn out to be, and how at its conclusion many players wish for it to just continue.

I don't think so! They just set up all these non-rendered models for a beautiful view of Tir na Lia and they thought nobody could go there.
