Spencer Tracy waking up and having a drink...not too far from his real life. Plus any movie with a PBY Catalina in it as a co- star, is alright. Pretty good effects for 1961. A diamond in the rough. Worth it.

Frank Sinatra you never think about as an actor. You think about his voice. But, actually he could be a pretty good actor. I have never seen this movie yet, but I’m watching it now. The other thing I love- no tech or CGI to fake locations. Watched a movie from 1960 entitled Spain on Holiday….. was so cool/wonderful- all shot on location with long “chase “ scenes and you got to see much of Spain and its culture of all sort. Can you imagine the travel fun such a cast would have ??? Very great.

Well, they tried.☹ A good film. Made in the days when you could understand what the actors were saying.👍

A Classic 60's film. Class A lead actors and Class A supporting cast. Great effects for the time, excellent script. The humour in the face of adversity was witty and poignant. As an atheist this was one 'god-toting' story I could handle, because it was more about humanity than heavenly intervention and in the end - Gaia - Mother Nature... Always Bats Last....

A very good film, with two icons! Film noir it ain’t. That phrase gets tossed around so much these days it’s ridiculous.

Great film about redemption and hope. Two of the buildings used in the film still exist on Maui at the dock in Lahaina. The town was much different in 1961 as Hawaii had only been a state for 2 years. Was interesting to see old Hawaii in some of the scenes.

I loved this movie. -- Jesus Christ said love God with all your heart mind soul and love your neighbor as yourself. These are the only two laws that God requires of us. Following Christ is not complicated. God is light and there is no darkness in him. The light of God reveals the truth and God himself is the ultimate truth, -- So we need to follow the Truth!!!

Tags #TheDevilat4OClock, #Sinatra, #DeanMartin, #Drama, #Volcano, #Survival, #ClassicFilm, #1960sCinema, #HumanNature, #FilmNoir, NOT ''FILM NOIR'' // Notes: The film is noted for its strong performances and intense emotional themes. The pairing of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin holds a special place among fans of classic cinema. // REALLY? AND WHAT FILM ARE YOU DESCRIBING HERE THEN? 'OCEANS ELEVEN' ? YOU NEED TO EDUCATE YOURSELF ON YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF FILMS AND ACTORS.
