Remarkably well done for a "poverty row" studio. Plenty suspense, action, with dashes of comedy 👍

Emperor Hundred Head Sometimes these films are great just for the clothes, decor, cars, and ambiance. This one is such a sharp print, it’s like a time machine. Yep, that motor would take like £200 to fill. And the parts! lol But it’s drool worthy nonetheless.
@gardengnome32494 жыл бұрын
@@NancyDrewe I love that expression" drool worthy" very apt although you failed to mention the bodies the clothes are draped in. I find some of these drool worthy as well. Sorry, I just noted your moniker. No wonder you failed to mention the bodies as I did or am I being politically incorrect.

The reason some of this 1930 acting wasn't so great is because sound film wasn't that old. 1927 the first sound movie came out. This film is from 1937. Some of these actors are beginners.

Question ; How did he manage to shoot him in the stomach, AFTER he had driven well past him ??? A boomerang bullet???
@kidmack11215 жыл бұрын
Looked like 38 Revolver "double action" 6-7" barrel. Round went through top of the closed trunk lid, and the backs of both the rear and front seats, striking the target in right posterior of torso/ ribcage. What's so hard to believe about that? Where'd you get stomach from?

Zorro Alphonso guess you've never watched Witness for the Prosecution, the African Queen, Gone with the Wind or countless others. @Cyber Zorro Zorro. I have never even bought ANY kind of 'hollywood' magazine much less thought about joining some idiot fan club but I fully agree that Hollywood brought out and did publicize actors and actresses and STILL DO but none can come even close to those from the 30's through the 50's. Hence the term. The Golden Years of Hollywood!!! The singer's could SING and the dancers could DANCE. And they sang without a soundboard with a gazillion switches that could make a pig squeal sound like great opera and dance, fully clothed without ANY bumps and grinds!! Even the "great" female singers of today are on stage as close to nude as possible and when they dance it's more bumps and grinds than actual dancing. I guess that they think nudity hides a lack of singing talent! And I dare ANY of the singer's today to sing through an old time Mic and an old speaker/amplifier that's about 24X24 inches! EVERY ONE WOULD REFUSE because even their biggest fans would boo them off of the stage. Opinions are like ass holes. Everybody has one and that's mine and I'm sure that those who disagree WILL be ranting and raving, even wanting me dead but I still wish those people only the best that life has to offer! In these days even Zorro needs to be safe! So I sincerely hope that you are doing everything possible to remain safe!!!
