This is another version of the “Modern day doctor transmigrates into ancient times”-story. This version has a very strong poison-arc and a hidden/double identity-arc which sets it apart from other versions. Actually it’s very entertaining. The actors are really good (also the kid) and the storyline doesn’t have all the usual tropes. So, don’t miss out on this one. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! A modern day female doctor wakes up in ancient times after being blown up in her lab. When she receives the memories of the body’s original owner, she realizes that this woman was a bit of a fool and her step-mother arranged for her to disappear in the mountains, in order for her own daughter to take over the arranged marriage made by the deceased mother of the fool. FL quickly decides to avenge the original owner of the body, but on her way down from the mountains, she runs into a masked man who turns out to be poisoned. She tells him that she is able to cure him. After suppressing the poison, she takes off, but drops a satchel with her name. Back at her mansion, she is confined to the woodshed when her finacé arrives in order for the half-sister to pretend to be her. But this young fiancé already knows his fiancé so it fails. When she escapes and accidentally falls into his arms, he dictates to marry her 3 days later. But this doesn't stop her step-mother and -sister in trying to make him change his mind so they manage to drug FL, who pretends to be a fool, with an aphrodisiac and then the masked man appears. Not knowing he is in fact her fiancé, she has him “detoxify” her. And so starts a story of revenge, power struggle, hidden identities, poison, marriage - and love of course. Well, not spoiling too much, this has a very happy ending.

It was okay. Ml was fascinated by fl from the start and she was smart and capable after her rebirth. Ml is so attractive 🔥 and so was his guard 😍 Good story but the plot twist didn't make sense and the ending (not ending scene) was weird

I love the fact that the ml fell for the fl at first sight and also that female was bot covering her face so it was easy to identify or there would be alot of misunderstanding and fake identity play for a long time I am loving this mini drama so far

Surprisingly good. It does have issues with the pacing of the subs and scenes not connecting well with eachother but the story is good and fast paced and funny.

That was surprisingly good once you learn to translate the bad subtitles. The two leads are good actors. None of the domestic abuse seen in so many of these vertically filmed shows. Lots of plot twists, few over used tropes and a positive ending.

Опять та же история. У приличной минидорамы абсолютно неприличный перевод , который не позволяет понять интригу полностью. Обидно😢! И когда в именах в субтитрах исчезнет буква Р? Насколько я знаю, звука "р" в китайском языке нет. Поэтому одно и то же имя в субтитрах передается по-разному: то через Р, то через Ж( последнее скорее всего правильная форма).
