Legend has it that in the 1820s, the Devil himself took up residence in a grand mansion on St. Charles Avenue. Locals dared not approach the ominous dwelling, fearing the wrath of the malevolent spirit that lurked within. Located at 1319 St. Charles Avenue, no one really knows when the building was built, but the lore surrounding it has continued on to this very day.
