Mike and Jeremy have been very hard on that album over the years. Claiming a lot of the structure and transitions don’t make sense and that it’s all immature. Ffs it’s a debut. It’s suppose to sound free, raw, maybe even “immature”. Idk why bands don’t respect what they put out early, but it’s always disheartening

I've followed these guys very closely since 09, and dead throne-8:18 ish they lost some of their stamina for whatever reason, namely Mike. He was passing out on stage, barely saying anything at all, not moving much. He's changed recently, around the time of The Act's release. Live has been nuts lately

Prob a non popular opinion for the TDWP community but I just think it started to go down hill at 8:18. I think they were doing everything right up until Chris left. After that it just didnt feel the same for me vibe wise. No album of their ever hit as hard as the zombie-ep and deadthrone to me since. I’m not knocking them at all, and I’ve tried so hard to like their newer stuff but it just didn’t work for me

That's interesting. Because for me, it's the opposite. I love their new stuff more than the old. I started to really love them in Space EP era. Don't get me wrong, I love a lot of their older songs, but I prefer what they're becoming now with their new sound in ZII and Sacrifice. I still think the best is yet to come.
