This song reminds me of my first love 12 years ago. We listened to this over and over again. Now 12 years later we are not only living in two different countries, he also seems to have lost himself and given in to the demons of addiction. The one I know and loved is gone. This song is a way to remember him the way he used to be.

Used to cry my eyes out to this song in middle school while engaging in self harm. I looked down at my scars while listening to this, remembering the pain, the loneliness of being different from the other kids. Not knowing what was wrong with me. "What would it take for things to be quiet?" - it's mostly quiet now, little me. You're not broken.

I was looking for this song for like months!!! I first heard it when I was like 12 in an animated video made by a obscure, teenage, french animator. Almost 9 years later, I suddenly remember all those hours I spend watching her videos and I wanted to find the one with that song in it. Sadly, the creator deleted her entire channel. There's (almost) no trace of his creations. I still have my memories and this song to comfort me. Listening to this song, I wanted to thank this person who gave me an interest in animation. Almost ten years later, I hope you are doing well and happy.

This song brings back deep memories from long ago. Around the time this album was popular, I walked in a forest called Oatka Creek Park in New York with my father in complete silence. It was lightly snowing, with a thin layer of snow on the ground and the trees that were sleeping for the winter. It was the quietest and most peaceful environment I have ever experienced in my 26 years of existence. I would love to walk through there during a flurry now, while listening to this song. Alas, i live 1000 miles away now, so it will be difficult.
