I just ordered one of these last night and after seeing this video, I obviously made the right decision. I'm not a mechanic. I just work on my own stuff a couple times a month. I'm just tired of using a tire iron. Thank you for this video. 🙏

That showing and teaching younger generations of techs that you don’t need a fancy toolbox and expensive tools to started off in the industry! 😅. Definitely subscribing on your channel!🙏🏽 🤙🏽

I have the Ridgid and the 891 kills it
@DiligentDave1966 Жыл бұрын
@@claddagh1000TTC showed that the 891 kills everything else. The only thing bad I’ve heard about it is that it’s so powerful that some of them have broken.
@DiligentDave1966 Жыл бұрын
Sorry, 404, but I also have the Ridgid, but Dewalt and Kobalt have both beaten it. The Ridgid hits a respectable 600 foot pounds consistently in every test video I’ve seen, but Dewalt is around 800. I believe Kobalt hits around 700.

Awesome! Obviously, it's not as snappy as a 1" air gun, but the fact it didn't struggle at all is very impressive. Great tool!

Im just a backyard mechanic, that Dewalt impact is probably the best purchase that I've made. I haven't found one nut it wont break loose! Its a beast!
@randythayer844010 ай бұрын
If that's a beast, I wonder what the max torque is?
@davee616110 ай бұрын
I ment its a beast for the size vs. power. According to Dewalt it has up to 800ft lbs of breaking force. It does everything that I need it to do.
@grandmastodon28486 ай бұрын
@@randythayer8440 dewalt has it rated for 800. however, there are many channels where it has broken 1000 ft lbs.

@vbarna40126 ай бұрын
Hello! Which Milwaukee do you have? I want to buy a mid torque for car repairs, that can loosen almost anything on a car (suspension, engine components). I looked at a Milwaukee 2962 and this DeWalt. I dont know which one I should buy.

I could be wrong but I thought the #1-#3 adjustments only affected driving (forward) and didn't change anything when reversing.
@EzTechJoe Жыл бұрын
Honestly I never take it off of the #3 setting but you are right. But for a few different brands it affects both directions. But for dewalt I don't believe so. I never move it for the MOST part. When I need a few more ugga dugga is when I usually only grab this

Semi truck lugnuts are a 33mm socket. If you use a standard socket it probably would be to tight. Don't know if you do or not but that's usually the case. Just the wrong size
