The saddest thing about Stockman is that he actually died at one point in the cartoon series due to circumstances involving him creating a clone body for him to transplant his brain into, only for it to deteriorate on him and cause him to go utterly insane in the process. He died after saving April (when he was hallucinating her as his dead mother)from a burning building...only for the Shredder to find what was left of his corpse and resuscitated his brain because he still had a use for him. Baxter even screamed at Shredder: "Why won't you let me die!?" It's actually crazy how much Laird and Eastman could get away with when they wrote this show.

To be fair, this version of Stockman does at least get a happy ending in Fast Forward. The future government makes him a new body and he gets to be vice president.

It was actually Bishop who saved Stockman's brain. Shredder was already defeated at that point.

This is my favorite version of the turtles. But for the life of me, I swear Baxter Stockman lived through the entire series by BS levels of Plot Armor.

Either he had IMMENSE plot armour or was just built alternatively. Any normal man would’ve died from shock of getting their eye gouged out.

Deffo plot armor since that dude lived all the way into the future in the 6th season of 2003 tmnt and also no dude shoukd be able to live through half of the shit he went through unless they did sone alien bs to keep his brain alive when he was in his only a head and after that only a brain phase

Probably doesn't get covered in the later trials, but Baxter lives long into the future when Fast Forward takes place. Dude's f'ing immortal. Ironic because by some point during 03, he's actually begging to just die.

Its kind of hillarious how 1987 Shredder was just a goober and then 4Kids of all things counterbalanced him by creating an iteration that is a genocidal egomaniac and *easily* one of the biggest haters in all of fiction. And what's crazier is that basically every Shredder AFTER this show took *some* level of inspiration from it.

out of all the TMNT series ive watch I'll admit '03 was INSANE. The fact it was on 4Kids (Known for censoring anime) was nuts. Leo was always my favorite turtle growing up but as I watch Rise and Mutant Mayhem I'm leaning towards Raph (He emits Dark Skin Energy)

Did bro really call THIS version the classic version. Bro you're about two decades too late. The classic TMNT was the one aired at the tale end of the 80's. This is just the new version, that led to all the other newer ones.

For real tho, Turtles 2003 was just a much better show because they took the Turtles and gave them the B:TAS/Gargoyles/X-Men treatment rather than just an extended toy commercial.
