Good to see a positive take on my favourite army. One thing I will say though is I don't think the elven cloaks are that good. They only get the bonus when hiding behind terrain, not other models. So a wood elf warrior with banner can still be sniped from the back line.

I've never played them, but I feel the wood elves with throwing weapons would work better if they are part of the Gildor band to get +2 movement.

I know Treebeard is the strongest, but for 50 points less, I fell Quickbeam actually is very nice. Extra movement usually comes handy in so many games.

The biggest downside to this army (and one I didn't see you guys mention) is that they hit like wet noodles. Army-wide S3 and no bonuses of any kind sucks

That is a good point, our not mentioning it is probably just a consequence of the armies ive played into the lothlorien all being d3 and d5 but yes against d6 or especially 8 they can really struggle. You do have access to two handing army wide so its not like there's no bonuses and you can almost always feint but 2 handing can be a big risk at times.

Yeh, I've found this - they'll win fights most of the time due to high fight and elven weapons, but they can't follow through with the wounds. To counter this, I tend to have a lot of spear and pike support, use them to to support and have the swords go two handed with feint - then have a banner giving re-rolls. It's pricey, but it does offset the -1 a lot.

about 3 minutes in. How big the bow is. It's not extra. If you wanted power back in the day your bow was literally that big cause there was no such thing as a compound bow then (why they are small now)

Quick correction around 13:41 you said Galadriel has a staff of power that cannot be shattered. Well no staff of power can be shattered. It says so in the spel description. claws and teeth, staff of power and the one ring cant be shattered.
