I love Dick Emery and watched his show when I lived in UK many years ago. That one lady character "OH YOU ARE AWFUL, BUT I LIKE YOU has stayed with me for many years (and still gives me good laughs even today). You never forget a great comedian. Very few good comedians. Thank God for KZbin and all the good people that post these excellent old comedy shows.

Dick Emery reminds me of a comedian called Jimmy Young from the seventies who did VERY similar characters based on the people over here in Northern Ireland. Having said that his comedy was the type of comedy that a person had to live in Northern Ireland in that era to understand why it was funny. Did anyone else notice that the husband in the doctor's waiting room was the actor Bill Teacher who played Arthur Fowler in EastEnders?
