Second to last episode of the series. Still brilliantly funny, terrific writing, perfect comedy acting. (Notice Garry Marshall as the bartender in the saloon.)

What's funny about this episode is that Bad Brady wrote the show. Good old Carl Reiner. They used Desilu Studios too. This is an era that will never return.

Jerry's dentist office was always a room in his home, with a bucolic suburban setting showing out the window. But here we see the cityscape that was used for the writer's room. As this was the last episode filmed, they were prob already underway shutting the production down, and had to make do with sets that were still available for the opening and closing scenes with Jerry.

@stephenstumbke1721 Well..in the episode that Rob and Laura saw Jerry and a blonde at the White Peacock..the next day Rob phoned Jerry to ask if they wanted to ride DT together to work..so Rob could talk to Jerry to see what's going on. When Rob asked Jerry..I thought the same..Jerry has his office in his house.

"Are you satisfied?", "Oh yeah, we're satisfied" Hilarious. Wasn't that "Monty Pythony" three years BEFORE Monty Pythons even started? Would they "steal" that? They built a genre on that twist... Superlative comic, Dick Van Dyke!

Not only a city view but the identical one to Rob's office downtown. As the show was ending production my guess is a lot of the lesser used sets had already been shut down by this time.

It was the only show (or one of very few) without a live audience. The actors were used to audience energy so it was a little hard.

Some seem to think this is the funniest episode, while I think it was okay I think there where so many funniest and more cleverly written episodes. I just watched the episode where Rob tries to hide from Laura he got hurt in a skiing accident, I was laughing out loudly through the whole episode because of DVDs physical comedy, this episode kind of made me sleepy though.

Absolutely the worst one they made after “ The Bad Old Days” in the first season. By Season 5 it’s almost like they stopped trying. Sheldon Leonard said no comedy series shoukd run for more than five years. As a result of that Don Knotts quit the “ Andy Griffith Show “ which wasn’t worth watching after that. This show I think the writers knew that rule and just put out trash to finish their contract as they knew there wasn’t going to be another season. Sheldon Leonard got into producing “ I Spy” which required international shooting locations and let these comedy series wither and die. Too bad as they became classics. I knoe Andy Griffith Show continued in colour but Don Knotts was the soul of that show.. I was a teenager then so lived that history. CBS purged all its “ country” themed shows and TV continued to self destruct. The 60’s were a Golden Era of TV but history now. Dtar Trek was cancelled after three years and it went on.
