This video really helped me. I'm looking to buy my first skates. Based on this I think I'll look at either the FR2 or FR1 skates. I don't want to go too cheap, I think it's better to start out with quality gear.

This is what is great about the FR range. The FR3 is actually a really good skate so anything above is fantastic. The FR2 and 1 have some "Stronger" parts so they will definitely be more durable. Thanks for watching!

Would you suggest getting your normal shoe size or downsizing the boot at all? Looking into the fr1
@SJRollerblading5 ай бұрын
@@kalanimagaoay7988 I personally downsize in the FR1. My feet are a size 43 but the 42 skate fits me after 2 weeks of skating everyday. What size of shoe are you?
@kalanimagaoay79885 ай бұрын
I wear US size 10 shoes. My hockey boots are a US 8 but I got those baked and they fit perfect. I’m thinking of getting the size 9 boot for the fr1 inline. Thanks for your speedy response

@@kalanimagaoay7988 that’s sounds like a good idea to me. Just bear in mind that they may feel far too small for a few weeks. Enjoy 🦶

I have a Rollerblade Cruiser 4x80, and a Powerslide Zoom Pro 3x100. And im lookinf forward to my 3rd one, butnim in doubt bewteen the FR 2 or FR 1 3x110. Could you help me decide? I will use it mostly for Urban and fitness skating. No atreet, no slalom
@SJRollerblading4 ай бұрын
If you are only using it for fitness then you could definitely go with the FR2 to get the cheaper price. The FR2 is still a very good skate and comes with some nice components. It has a plastic buckle instead of metal and the frame and wheels won't be as strong as the FR1 but otherwise it's still more than good enough to keep you fit.

@@SJRollerblading thanks for the answer man. It's like 60% urban and 40% fitness. In fact, it's fitness inside the urban. 10 to 20km per urban sometimes. Is Still the FR2 the recommendation? I was looking at the rollerblade twister 3x110
@wfd6664 ай бұрын
Because here in Brazil the twister is 100 more than the fr2. And comes with ilq9 bearings and hydrogen wheels. I'm only afraid of the boot being too narrow for my feet

Nice demonstration for a very look a like skate line. Only wished that a US$480 skate comes with a better wheels like MPC or at least Downtown wheels. PS : Still FR the best brand exists.

Thanks for watching! That boot only version is the one.

Hello, it's better go for ine size down, talking about Fr deluxe?
@SJRollerblading Жыл бұрын
For the Deluxe it's probably best to choose the option that has your shoe size in it. If you are a 9 UK in Shoes then you may fit in the 42/43 option.

Thank you for working this out. I understand why you need to answer it a lot at stores. It´s a mess. And don´t need to be.

I find it funny that the street king wheels are better the street invader wheels and yet they are on the cheaper skate. Keep smashing the reviews 💙💙💙

Yeah, the street invaders are definitely not my favourite but they are super popular. Thanks dude!

How tight was it out of the box. I don’t know if I need a bigger size
@SJRollerblading Жыл бұрын
Extremely tight. Take the liner out, place your foot inside the boot and compare the size of the boot to your foot. You should see lots of space. The thick padding will stop bouncing back and it will thin up as you use them. Usually takes me around 20 hours of skating to break them in
@3rdtwirl494 Жыл бұрын
@@SJRollerblading Awh this makes sense. Ok. Thank you! I’ll give it a go when they arrive
@Ronjon86 Жыл бұрын
I’m a us11 and have FR3 in 11s. Now that the liner is broken in they feel a tad loose.

Would you say the FR 1 are the best skates on the market not including carbon and Adapts?
@SJRollerblading Жыл бұрын
It really depends on what you want to do with your skates. If you are looking for a skate that can do a bit of everything then the FR1 is a great choice over most of the other options. I personally do not like carbon skates but taht's not to say that they are not good. I just don't need carbon for my tyoe of skating. I prefer to have shock absorbsion with a removable liner. Carbon skates would be better for Slalom, Slides and Speed skating.
