is any miniature available for the pressure relief valve so that it can be installed in small components?

The smallest size of the pressure relief valve from our range is 3/8". Mini safety valves should not be used as a relief valves.

Will an average safety valve release the pressure of a 12 SCFM pump at 150 psi effectively enough, or will I need to pick one with a larger orifice?

Hi, to ensure the safety and efficiency of your system, it's crucial to select a safety valve that is not only capable of handling the specific flow rate of your pump but also the pressure it operates at. An average safety valve may not be optimized for your specific setup, especially considering the flow rate and pressure you've mentioned. For a 12 SCFM pump at 150 PSI, we recommend selecting a safety valve with a larger orifice. This will ensure that the valve can release pressure effectively and maintain the safety of your system without compromising performance.

Does the spring get wetted by the fluid in any of these valves?

Hello, yes it does.

How can we identify, a pressure safety valve and a pressure rileaf valve by seeing it
@Tameson Жыл бұрын
Pressure safety valves and pressure relief valves play different roles in a system and can be identified by their functions and designs. A pressure safety valve (PSV) is designed to stop the operation of a system until the system pressure reaches a safe level below the maximum operating levels. This means if the system pressure exceeds the set limit, the safety valve will open and release the pressure. Once the pressure drops to a safe level, the valve will close. This is often a last resort to prevent a system from over-pressurizing. On the other hand, a pressure relief valve operates to control pressure increases without stopping the system's operation. This valve will open gradually as the pressure increases and close when the pressure decreases. It's designed to maintain a steady operation of the system. In terms of visual identification, this can be more challenging as the external appearances of these valves can be quite similar. It's often the internal mechanisms and how they function that differentiate them. The best way to identify them would be to contact us and we will be glad to help you.
