You're welcome. I had intended on trying to simulate the same fault and get a repeatable reading with the various types of Megger, but it ended up being a little bit of screwing around instead. Still, the difference in arc gap was interesting. Thanks for stopping by, we have some other Megger content on the channel, including testing a motor with the Klein and a Fluke.

Meggers are rad if you know how to use them. Like any tool they can diffuse possible headache situations but brother please, can you maybe get a cup of joe down before doing a vid? I watch your videos jn 2x speed and can comprehend everything perfectly. Sorry to sound critical, but thank you for not getting mad at me :)

I should see how that sounds. Maybe Chipmunk Talking Paws has potential. I'll see what I can do. Normally I try and shoot the videos like it was a BS session out in the shop. There's a lot of heavily produced, edited and scripted content I'm going for something slightly more natural. But like anything else the channel will evolve as time goes on. Thanks for the input and no worries I got a good chuckle out of the thought of Chipmunk Talking Paws.........Alvin.
