Would be nice if you included mm² cross-section (international cable categorization acc to IEC 60228) as well. Not only American Wire Gauge (AWG). Would make things way easier for international viewers.

Keying is something that Deutsch uses so that you cannot mate incompatible connector housing. For instance, a DT 12 pin connector has A, B, C and D Keying. This ensures that a C Key plug cannot be mated with a D Key Receptacle. Basically it is a tab on the plug that slides into a slot on the receptacle. These must align for them to mate. I hope that makes sense.

No DT series that will handle 24 AWG?

The DT series, size 16 contacts, will accept 14 - 20 awg wire.

@@WireCare Yes, I know, but 24 is smaller than 20 and no DTx connector appears to handle smaller than 22 gauge (DTM series) unfortunately. I have a device that uses only 24 AWG and it appears nobody makes a weatheright connector specified for wire this small.

@ltvoyager I have heard of people (tinning) g th he wire to make it 1 or2 sizes bigger. Don’t know if that helps you.

They dont make it easy for customers add in autosport connectors. I also like how the rate in amps at what voltage and ac or dc ? Get ready to part with money make mistakes and part with more money.

Yes, the autosports are a bit more complicated to understand. The dielectric strength on the DT connectors would be 1500 VAC.
