This is not really a great moment. He won a trip for two to the All Star Game. Not really a lot to celebrate. That made the celebration unrealistic. But, I did find it interesting that they incorporated a majority of Herb Brooks speech from the movie "Miracle" into this scene Also, Jennifer Connelly screaming and pounding on the glass in celebration was...well...a little unexpected. Overall the movie was far from funny, and often too far too angry to be entertaining.
