Really helpful. My lessons got cut from the rona, also I think I have that exact same charlie brown book:) My dad challenged me to play fantasie impromptu by chopin and I finished it. I'm probably gonna try to make heart and soul sound really good to show it off whenever someone plays it.

I saw videos of you and one time you start with half step , other time with whole step. Which one is more common or what is the difference of use each other.

start with 1/2 step on a dominant 7th. Start with whole step on a diminished chord.
