❤ thank you. I am learning about the moog ladder filter and I find myself going right back to basics and finding myself caught on them. I am looking at how to use transistors as resistors, so to speak and realise there are subtleties wrt the pn junction that I didn't understand. You have a brilliant way of explaining things and now I feel much more confident after watching your video(s). Of course , I can't get back to sleep now as I am energized with a better understanding of the pn junction and building an active multistage filter is not as daunting as I previously imagined. The original moog ladder filter used 4 Poles where matched biplor transistors are used but other synthesizer manufacturers used diodes instead . So your video has given me the insight as to how things wiggle taking room temperature vt of 26 mV and n = 1 to 2 . THANK YOU from the bottom of my over 50 year old heart . God bless you. ( even if you are not a believer 😊 ) .

Thank you. Your message made my day. I hope you continue to enjoy the wonders of electronics and music. In my mind and in my heart those two fields are closely related.

Couldn't agree more. I am in my senior year of EE. I first found this channel because I purchased a HP Prime (which is much less prevalent than the TI series), and his videos showed the true potential. Luckily enough he also had great videos on electronics!

You are too kind. I am truly happy that my contribution helped a fellow pilgrim on the journey of the Electrical Engineer. Fun fact, my first job as an engineer was supposed to be in Sudan, sent by a transnational company as a rookie engineer. Too bad the company did not allow spouses to come along for the first year and I was just married, so it was a deal breaker and I got a job with a Texan company instead.
