The Dirt Cheap Marshall 3505 sounds like a MILLION BUCKS!!

I'm playing an amzing 1987-1991 Marshall Micro Bass model 3505 through a Marshall 1960A 4x12 with JBL E120 speakers and a Fender 59 Bassman 4x10 cab with JBL E110 speakers, using both guitars and basses! This is one of the solid state mini heads that marshall produced in the 1980s along with Lead 12, bass and Reverb 12. This one is a 30 watter though. If you find one. Buy it!!
Instruments: 1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom, 1974 Gibson Ripper, 1975 Gibson Grabber, 2021 Fender Telecaster Custom Shop 1960 Relic.

Johan, soooo glad you made this vid.. I picked one of these up 6 months ago.. mint condition in Ohio on lake Erie in a small music store.. full head and 2 cab micro stack mint condition..sounded awesome with a P bass and also great with guitar.. takes pedals well.. sits with my Lead 12C as its big brother.. mint condition.. took her home for $200 USD.. thought of you when buying this gem from 1986.. but no good vdis about it..until now.. thanks again for keeping the vintage gear alive..!!!

Very cool little amps. I'm into the lead/bass 12 as well, but don't really have a use for it unless it can be heard over a drummer. Might have to pick one up anyway soon. Great playing as always Johan.

Nice demo Johan! 👍👌 Back in the late 1980s, I was turned off from solid-state practice amps, partly due to my DIY single channel amp that only had a dull clean tone, and the "anti solid-state" propaganda (via music shops & magazines) present at the time. This meant that I didn't even bother *listening* to (commercial) solid-state amps, and just bought a small valve amp, which while fine for practice, lacked the versatility and value for money of a decent solid-state/hybrid amp. Now, of course, vintage amps of all types are revered 🙄🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s intended to be a bass amp, but ‘bass’ amps frequently are used for guitar-see the Fender 5f6a Bassman and its descendants (Marshall JTM45/ Traynor YBA-1). Then again, you may not get much distortion unless you max the knobs.
