You have to be more aggressive dude. That felt like a 50% sparring session. I know it’s a bit “slower” in Thailand, but man, you gotta fight like a foreigner then cuz that was too “gentle”. I want you to win 🥇 but at your age… you could’ve turned the pace up, wore him out by round 2 or 3 and actually got the W my guy. Kyle from One Kick Muay Thai Las Vegas 🦵🥊

It can be easy to teep in the groin but more than 2 times is definitely on purpose. He definitely has a lot of experience, but he also knew he was older; which means you had a larger gas tank. He was using that to keep you from pressuring him too much. That's the only downside to fighting in Thailand, the locals can get away with a lot, and the judges are bias in favor of the locals. It is what it is, keep up the grind! Also your record is good for just a year and a half. Some dudes would love just to have one win on their record

Well done man, you brought the heat, you're right though his confidence and technique just bested you. You're better than that because you're back to it. 3 - 4 - 1 isn't whack, that's a legit record outside of the corrupt and hyped world of MMA and boxing that we're used to. I'm back in Thailand now and training to compete, seeing your content kept my head a bit in the game in some tougher times and kept the dream alive. Great fight! I enjoy the edit but I though it would also be nice to include the crowd noise to feel the atmosphere too, I love the thai music and crowds during fights!! Also, although the opponent was teeping your groin, I'm surprised the ref didn't give you any time to recover or deduct any points from him after 10 hits??? Surely if the ref was more active he would have been more careful with his placements. (could be talking out of my ass though) either way great vid I look forward to the next!

Just an idea: If you start posting shorts on insta why not also post them on tiktok? Idk what your opinion about that platform is but fact is you can reach many ppl on there and maybe help your channel grow! Id be really sad if you ever had to stop posting videos bc of whatever reason. I think your unique way of editing and talking about things is very entertaining, refreshing and for sure sets you apart from other creators who do simmilar types of videos. Brother, as a fellow martial artist and from my analysis. You coulda beat him. You didn’t keep him guessing enough. Reason he was in the matrix was because he knew what combo you were gonna throw. Next time aim for his chest area instead of head hunting and throw more high-low combos. Once on you saw him weaving, that a good time to time a leg kick and exit out.

similar to what i said if u can see my comment, aggressiveness, the guy clearly likes to keep his distance and score that way and when he is close range he doesnt like to trade and doesnt defend that well and just goes back to keeping distance, as well the youtube fighter doesnt set up his kicks which is why he is so open for catch counters dodge counters etc. he needs to work on closing distance fast and setting up kicks with combos before hand as it would help alot more. @@poike5299 yes I agree, just like a lot of people in Europe believed that the dutch style dominated in Thailand it's because of "Ramon Dekker" and contents about him and his style was very aggressive and looks dominant but in real life in the stadium he even lost and outclassed by the 16 years old Thai kids named "Chainoi" at that time. Luckily we still could watch those old videos on KZbin and see how he was outclassed.

I understand your frustration with him doing dirty tricks but you have to remember that Muay Thai (especially in Thailand) is a sport with a bunch of unwritten rules and the ruleset is so loose that it is almost up to the referee himself to decide what is legal and not. I have always been told kneeing the groin is a big no but teeping the d*** or groin is just as legal as kicking the groin. I have seen all sorts of KO's and even though it does not happen so often every now and then you will see a groin KO's even in the biggest stadiums in Bangkok. The funny thing about this is that the referees nowadays are so quick to point out an illegal sweep or if you took too many steps after having caught a kick (which I think was an implemented rule after Namkabuan used to throw people over the ropes) but when it comes to these groin strikes etc. there are really no rules and in all fairness I have seen knee to the groin KO's too so at this point I'm not even sure myself. Regardless, you are doing badass shit and you learn from each fight, only up from here 🤠
