The most unbelievable thing is that the guy apparently had 3G reception in an underground basement. That's the closing factor for me. Let's say he had a modern smartphone at that point in time, and could immediately take a picture when tapping the 'upload image' button on the post/comment form on the webpage (as in, not having to load gallery, select image.. etc). We have 26 seconds in total per post. Tap 'select image', select 'take image with camera'. Camera app opens. About 4 seconds. Actually take the image, wait for it to process for a bit (remember, 2013! Things were not fast). About 7 seconds I'd wager. Then type your text. Time varies, but never less than 10 seconds I'm guessing. (We are up to 21 seconds already) Enter the captcha. Let's say he was a very experienced user and could always easily recognize the captchas... about 5 seconds. (We have hit 26 seconds now) And then finally press 'Submit', and wait for upload. Now, given the limitations of 3G connectivity, AND he was underground, there is no single way I can believe this took any less than 20 seconds just on its' own. Meaning that making a single post would take you about 45 seconds. If he's a slow typist, it would be more like a minute. So there we have it. By my account, the speed is absolutely impossible to achieve.

You don't have the full story... I've been trying to tell people since it happened but no one listens. I was in contact with Alex minutes before he disappeared. SOMETHING HAPPENED TO HIM! Everyone says he couldn't post as fast as he did unless he was at a desktop computer... Wrong he was using a app that I told him about. It was a 3rd party app that only allowed you to post a picture with a description that was less than 500kb. Heck I even contacted the local police department and they wouldn't even do anything about it.

I've held a lot of guilt over these 10 years mainly because he wasn't going to go to that location until I messaged him telling him about an app that he could use to keep everyone updated. Everything "strange" about his updates is explainable when you take in consideration the use of an app and its limitations. It's hard to explain to people how guilty I feel over this... Imagine trying to tell everyone that no this wasn't a hoax and no one believes you. I was on the phone with him as he arrived at the location then after his last post every form of contact went dead. Phone number, Yahoo Messenger, 4chan even the other message boards he regularly posted on as well as a moderate went completely silent. Heck he didn't even live in that county he drove something like 40 min to get there. After contacting the local police and them blowing me off I contacted the county he was from i spoke with an officer who attempted to look into it but couldn't do anything because of it being a different jurisdiction.

John Wayne Gacy was an American serial killer. Sometimes he was referred to as "The real life killer clown" or something along those lines. He usually tortured and killed his victims sometimes in his clown costume and by the time he got caught he killed around 30 boys and men. And those are the known victims. There's a documentary on Netflix about this called the John Wayne Gacy tapes

Gacy not Gracie, smfh.. lol...Gacy owned his own construction company, was a member of the city council, a coach (assistant) for Little League sports, and a clown, (Pogo the Clown), for hire at children's birthday parties. He purchased a 100 pound bag of lime every week to scatter across the bodies underneath his home. He did this in order to help reduce the stench from all of decaying victims buried there. When he was finally arrested, I think the authorities ended up removing 33/34 bodies from underneath his house. All victims were young males around their early teens, and C.O.D. was stated to be from strangulation. On a side note, I actually did meet Joyce Gracie back in 2003/2004 in Dunedin, FL. Cool dude. His older brother is named Joryion, or something similar to that name. I forgot the correct spelling, it's been a few years. Cheers

Just started watching your channel. Your videos are entertaining, & have been watching them when I see them pop up in my feed. However, I need to comment (& I never comment): This is a great video dude. I would say your best yet, of the 6 or so I’ve seen. After this, I went and watched a bunch of your others, & this one holds up still. Documenting & commentating is one thing - a lot of channels do that & are super successful - but taking your own initiative to dig deeper & get expert analysis - that is what gets people like me to sub. Idk maybe subs is what you’re about, but high quality KZbin deep dives are my favorite kind of videos - I really latch onto a channel that takes a topic & does their own digging. I already knew about this story, & I thought that it ended with “no one really knows what happened”; but because of this video, it really seems to me that the answer is there. Anyways, props dude. I’m gonna stay subbed & I hope you try out more deep diving into subjects. You have a really cool niche here with the 4chan stuff; it’d be cool to see you expand to other mysteries, whatever that means to you. I also appreciate your editing; it flows nicely & mixes infographic with entertainment. I think this might be my only comment on KZbin ever (maybe? I can’t ever remember doing so before) but I really just wanted to give you some props. I think your channel will be big if you keep it up; so keep it up. Thanks for the entertainment
