Love these new pikes. This one in some riffs reminds me my all time favorite Dancing soul. This is the music I can hear all the time. Love you Buckethead!!!

Very Dancing Soul-esque, uses the same drum track and guitar effects too, wouldnt be surprised if he recorded it at the same time and is only just releasing it now.

@@NatterNet This is very probable, I think B is continuously working on many compositions and releases them in such batches, but not necessarily just right after he finishes them...

@@ivanvalko9621 for sure, he's got years worth of stuff just sitting around, most of which he's probably forgotten he even recorded, like the handful of Pikes in the later-200's that haven't been released yet even though they've been recorded.

@@NatterNet I explore passionately the pikes, and finding some real gems for my ears. And can see some similarities in effects, style or vibe... For example, Dancing Soul is truly exceptional for me, in this style. I also love a lot of the ambient ones (especially Medicine Sea, but many others also), 100's and 200's series are more guitar rhythms and solos (I have a lot of favorites there, for example Other Portals from 247 is pure perfection for me), exceptional is also Treehouse Backwards In Time with outstanding masterpiece solo last 10mins... I continuously build my collection of favorites and have already more than 100 pieces. Some of them bought on bandcamp becasuse I want to pay B for them, some of them just downloaded from YT, but still decent sound quality... This is so inspiring and the music he creates has so many faces... don't listen to anything else since I discovered this world of music...

Personally I find his earlier Pikes (pre-2019) far superior than anything he's done recently, they used to be more thought out and more time put into them, but people enjoy the recent long improv jam pikes too, either way he covers all the bases and theres an endless treasure chest of greatness

This is a really good Pike! Staring at this album art whilst listening, and only realised after 20 minutes in that the white against red colour of the building is actually not a door but is the Bucket on buckethead!? But it's also a door at the same time!? :)

Yes he paints them and sells them on his website....most of the albums from the last few years have been improv jams so it's highly likely he wont play any of the recent pikes. Be nice if he played more Pikes for sure though.
