Ayyyyyy!!! Really interesting video Bro. Hard to articulate what the problem(s) is/are, as I think there are a lot of them. At a base level, Disney really hasn't cared too much, as it's primary goal has been money. As a gigantic Corporation with share holders to pay, that is the nature of this particular beast and we live with it. What I think they are now finding, is they can't just make low quality, poorly written stuff and hope to make money.

Disney needs to figure out what to do with LucasFilm; feels like they just pumping stuff and relying on IP's and name recognition hoping that will sell. And it is not enough. What made these things beloved was the heard and story. I feel like you can't see the love/storytelling no more. Whether it's movies, tv, video games, etc. Lucasfilm has been dropping the ball in this Disney era takeover. Like Indiana Jones, Willow, and of course Star Wars has been rough and mishandled. Like when something does work it feels almost like a fluke and Disney cannot replicate it interning and trying. Feels so corporate made by committee now a lot of the times. I still love somethings, and nothing will take away from childhood, but it's def a serious bummer a lot of times now. It's almost like I just don't want to see the things I loved being brought back and worked on now. It's weird, strange feeling. I do for my and everyone else's sake that we can see some truly special Star Wars again on the horizon. Of course, this is just my opinion people are free to take and believe whatever they want.

So hard to articulate a reasonable response to this video by typing a little message. I'd need to discuss everything you said here over a 3 course meal!! Then probably drinks afterwards... One baffling point I can address is your mention of the weird 23 minute episodes that are a throwback to terrestrial TV from years ago, where 23 minutes, plus the adverts equalled 30 minute slots, preplanned into a daily schedule. This is a bloody advert free Streaming service!!?? They can do as they please, yet remain rooted in the past. However, if they doubled up to 46 minute episodes, the show would only have a runtime of 3 weeks. Either way seems paltry... Tiny episodes for 7 weeks, larger for 3 and that time frame obviously doesn't include any "doubling up' either.

"What the fans want is not always what they need." I agree Disney has mismanaged some of its larger scale SW projects, but Disney is also responsible for some of the best best SW we've gotten since ESB. We don't need to be polling SW Theory or other "influencers" for their take. It's SW. Everyone will hate it no matter so kind of pointless

@philipcozzolino8750 that is true. I think I'm looking for a bit more consistency overall. CW S7, Rebels, Mando, Ahsoka. I need that quality more than not. Overall I like what we've gotten but I think they could do better at the end of the day
