Asafa I like seeing how the chickens doing .. Even though I don’t eat eggs 😅 I’m vegetarian . I grew up On a farm . My neighbor is into raising chickens and ducks . The duck eggs are much larger than the chicken eggs . . And on most days they each lay like 2 eggs per day . Unlike the chicken that usually lays only one egg per day .

That's how we get wool from sheep etc. Now excessive molting is always an issue. If we humans lose too much hair strands in one day then that is likely due to some form of inflammation etc. When chickens pluck their feathers themselves that is usually due to lack of protein or even bugs under the feathers.
