Kidding me? I loved watching him and his music grow , didn't like seeing him unhealthy, but he was still an awesome performer through all of that....that takes a strong person... I'm an always on board fan from a2z! Let's face it he was a child when he started , not even a man-boy like most guys late teens early 20's those are man-boys! Your frontal lobe doesn't even finish forming/growing till your 25! What was he?? 14 , he deserves a whole lot more credit than some people give him for while he was "growing up" ages! His music was still.wonderful and kudos to him and his band , crew , managers ,parents for these once boys not slipping into the spiraling down addiction hole that have taken some of our best musicians ever! I'm pretty sure they've been offered just about anything just so someone can " meet" them and try and be a so called friend! So, don't knock him, you did not walk in his shoes!

@hate66877 жыл бұрын
keaulana1 agree.. Paul Mac was a completely different artist to Daniel and Silverchair, and a completely different person too .. I couldn't think of a worst type of artist for Daniel to get with .. compare this music to any thing Daniel worked on in the first three albums of Silverchair, really emotionally charged raw energy from an angsty teenager writing authentic music pouring his soul out on records and on stage who was the voice, icon and inspiration for so many young people .. this is pure and utter pop garbage that means nothing .. for all you people buzzing out on this I hope it's fucking worth losing one of our greatest guitar icons and the brilliant class act that was Daniel johns .. Paul robbed him of his individuality, his authenticity and his class and he robbed us of one of the greatest rock stars Australia ever produced, not to mention Silverchair, how fucking special were they , is this special? No, this makes me sick .. Paul mac was highly irresponsible and immature, lacked any form of class and dragged Daniel down to his level, he should have known better, he should have left Daniel and Silverchair alone .. what a fucking atrocity.

I am a long date Daniel Johns/Silverchair fan, but it took me too long, just back in 2021, to first listen to The Presets (drums and other keys on this gig). It also explains how good the Dissociatives are live. P.S.: It's funny to see that Daniel covered off the "sol" and the "o" from his Soldano amp so it reads just Dan. Later, still with Silverchair, he would use two Soldano amps, one being the same used here and the other with the "dan" from Soldano hidden, so it reads "dan solo".

Wow. Super group of unbelievable Aussie musos. Wilfully taken back in time. So it's 2021 and I'm pondering. Pondering about what comes after young modern (yes a different group)? Is young modern really a full stop? Bloody hell I hope not because with every new album came a revolution. Sometimes with a vb wondering to myself and outloud, "what if?" What if, someone with commitment, skill, talent, interest and bravery came and delivered something to these ears in the 2020's that blew us away yet again? I ponder such. But. That was effing sick!

Young man, Old man is my fav from this set. Omg.... so much Beatle Energy! But I think Daniel has to have the BIGGEST CHANGE in appearance just by cutting his hai from ANYONE I've ever seen!
