A few weeks ago, we hosted a 'pop up' show with a very young Philadelphia band, The Districts. Considering their talent and young appearance, they make us feel quite old. They just graduated from high school and moved to the city to possibly attend college but mostly to pursue their music.
We sent out an email to blogs detailing the 'pop show' and just about 30 people, friends and strangers, showed up for the show to see these young dudes play.They kicked off the short set with this song, "Lyla". Enjoy.

Saw these guys start before a modest mouse show in Boston the other day, and I didn’t know they would be playing, but they were fucking awesome and totally blew my expectations. I looked them up right when I got home and I’ve been going through all their stuff. Wish I knew about them sooner they are such a refreshing sound to hear, and I’m a very big fan. Hope to see them live at their own show soon!
