The Districts are a rock band whose ferocious live show pits their catchy singalongs against walls of feedback-ridden distortion and ripping bass grooves. This dynamic relationship is what makes the Districts’ turn of the millennium-inspired bar rock pay off so highly. Man I miss their jazzy rock and folk vibe they had on Telephone and Kitchen Songs. Their overall sound was more raw and organic. They went straight cut indie.
