A good family won't raise this kind of person. He had a strict alienated father and overendulging engulfed mother who spoiled him too much trying to overprotect him from cruelness of outer world. Not allowing him to meet reality. Raising a child unsuitable to adult life with responsibilities of an adult. He couldn't even work propely. All he cared in life were simple pleasures. His mother helped him to grow a narcissistic personality disorder (due to spoiling) with stong schizoid and sociopathic tendencies. Even in interrogation he acted as a child trying to avoid responsibility. And narcissists are little children stuck emotionally at the age of 2-3 years. He basically killed his relatives in order to quench his thirst of keeping relationship with that cam woman. He resembles to a little 2 year old child. If you take away child's toy - he starts crying and can even burst on you with his little fists.) The scariest thing - he is that little child emotionly in body with a brain of an adult. That what made him so dangerous. Hope I succed in explaining. ^^ A good parent gives you enough of praise and limitations. He teaches to be humble, yet responsible. It's all about balance. Those people weren't cruel..just didn't have enough knowledge in raising children. I feel sorry for them. They didn't deserve be killed.

Then look closely at the weird way in which jason talks to grant. Watch . And listen to the words. Too. Ya gotta do that..right? The words jason uses? Listen to them. Is that really the way someone would say those words? If jason didnt do it? I just dont think so. So? Where is the WITNESSES that say they saw grant do it? Too? Hmmnnn? Their isnt a witness. Anywhere. Why? Because grant didnt do it. Jason is being dec eptive. And jason knows the ins and outs of the neighbourhood. .that's around Jason's home. Technically speaking. So? Jason knew what was happening between his family and grant.. It was a set up. Also Jason would probably know how to avoid the cameras of the neighbours. Right? So? Listen closely to how grant is talking. Look closely. Theirs no hint of guilt. Not Even a hint. Not even a hint. Hes clearly just confused. And probably an idiot. But when jason appears in that room? And talks? To grant? Later on in this video? Listen closely to what jason says. .the words jason speak there? They dont fully add up logically. Somethings deceptive in those words. On Jason's part. Listen closely. If you were in Jason's position there? Would you talk like that? It wasnt even proper LINQUISTICS. Something was wrong with those words. As far as I can tell? Clearly Grant's just a moron. And his brother " jason" knowing that" decided to set grant up to take the fall for murder. Now jason gets everything. In his parents will.. And his confused dumb brother gets to sit in jail wondering what happened. """What happened? Mommy? Me doesnt understand. See?"" Cries grant. Look closely. Obviously that's the case. How no one can see that's obvious except yours truly """is truly weird. Well... maybe it's not that obvious. But closely. And it becomes that. What the police should do? Ask jason to prove where he was . At that time. When the murders took place. And his girlfriend. And then ask the dummy grant where he was. Prove there whereabouts. Before ya just start assuming grant did it. It sure sounded to me like the cops didnt rationally do that. Gee? I wonder why? Did jason promise them money? If they helped jason frame grant? Woe? This was intriguing to see, and I think helps more of us realize these people who kill loved ones are still human. They snapped and lost control - it's scary, because in so many of these videos the killer may seem totally (or fairly) "normal" until their life just spins out of control and they lose it. Honestly I wish I knew what made the switch flip in the brain that causes a normal person with a normal family suddenly resort to murder. I think that's part of the reason why I find true crime so fascinating. Yes it is despicable what he's done but at the end of the day, he's a human just like any of us, with a family just like any of us. Someone loves and cares for him despite what he's done. It's just so mind blowing how these things can happen... and yet at the same time, it's not, murder has occurred since the beginning of time. But we still haven't discovered a way to reduce or prevent it.

@Cynthia Baker That's what I thought - not only that, his family was clearly willing to give him quite the leg up financially if he wanted to go back to school, etc. A lot of people don't have that to begin with: I grew up with just my mom's income after my dad died when I was a kid and she couldn't help me pay for college or anything else - this guy has no idea how fortunate he was and instead he scammed his family out of over $200k for a "girlfriend for hire," then killed them all when they wouldn't let him steal more. Unreal. It really got me seeing his brother curled up on the ground like that - I couldn't imagine doing that to my own family.

"Killing a person does not lead to nearly as much pain as creating a human being. In countless cases, parenthood has been the worst attempt to contribute something positive to the world." - Mokokoma Mokhonoana "He seriously thought that there is less harm in killing a man than producing a child: in the first case you are relieving someone of life, not his whole life but a half or a quarter or a hundredth part of that existence that is going to finish, that would finish without you; but as for the second, he would say, *are you not responsible to him for all the tears he will shed, from the cradle to the grave? Without you he would never have been born, and why is he born? For your amusement, not for his, that’s for sure;* to carry your name, the name of a fool, I’ll be bound - you may as well write that name on some wall; why do you need a man to bear the burden of three or four letters?" - Gustave Flaubert
@xxslendermomxx30265 жыл бұрын
Wow, that made for delightfully cynical reading. In my opinion, nobody has children for “amusement” purposes. Parenting in general is like one big craps shoot: Maybe your kid will someday discover the cure for cancer... Or maybe they’ll die of it when they’re still just a baby. Maybe they’ll someday be an amazing leader or teacher or counselor who makes the lives of everyone around them better... Or maybe they’ll someday become a prolific drug trafficker. And these outcomes all happen despite the best efforts of parents, or despite the minimal efforts of parents. As it turns out, I’m admittedly only a mediocre mother myself. But to date, my sons are both in good health, mostly well-behaved relative to their ages, and without any obvious emotional disturbances. Motherhood has definitely been a struggle, but I value everything I’ve learned from it, the good and the ugly. The only regret I currently have about bearing children is that the world I brought them into has declined so quickly and severely ever since. I can’t (or don’t want to) even imagine the cesspool they’ll be living in as adults. Maybe I was naive about it but in my case, it was unforeseen. I believe even if I was the World’s Greatest Supermom that I wish I could be, it wouldn’t be enough to prepare these kids for the waking nightmare of planet Earth in the next fifty years. I actually feel sorry for them now. I have guilt about it even. It’s a daunting task to try to encourage them and give them the hope for their future that all kids require, but at the same time make sure they are equipped to deal with the harshest of realities. I take ownership of my personal flaws and failures, however I am at a complete loss as to how to explain certain circumstances that currently exist in the world at large. And yes, the thought that it could all end up going pear-shaped for them through no fault of anyone in particular- the bad seed argument I guess- is depressing and even frightening but nevertheless, the possibility IS a part of the parenting package. And there’s no returns, exchanges, or refunds. If my kid turns out successful, I’ll celebrate every achievement along with him. If my kid ends up on Death Row someday, I’ll be bringing him cookies as often as I can until every appeal is exhausted. There’s so many inherent risks of all kinds involved that to say (or imply) that bearing children is a selfish act is bordering on absurdity. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

@@xxslendermomxx3026 I think you need to read some David Benatar and other Anti-Natalism philosophy. I believe it is immoral to rip an innocent soul out of the ether to suffer on this crowded hot planet. Clarence Darrow puts it best, imo: I am inclined to believe that the most satisfactory part of life is the time spent in sleep, when one is utterly oblivious to existence; next best is when one is so absorbed in activities that one is altogether unmindful of self. I am satisfied that no one with a moderate amount of intelligence can tolerate life, if he looks it squarely in the face, without welcoming whatever soothes and solaces, and makes one forget. Nothing is so cruel, so wanton, so unfeeling as Nature; she moves with the weight of a glacier carrying everything before her. In the eyes of Nature, neither man nor any of the other animals mean anything whatever. The rock-ribbed mountains, the tempestuous sea, the scorching desert, the myriad weeds and insects and wild beasts that infest the earth, and the noblest man, are all one. Each and all are helpless against the cruelty and immutability of the resistless processes of Nature. Whichever way man may look upon the earth, he is oppressed with the suffering incident to life. It would almost seem as though the earth had been created with malignity and hatred. If we look at what we are pleased to call the lower animals, we behold a universal carnage. We speak of the seemingly peaceful woods, but we need only look beneath the surface to be horrified by the misery of that underworld. Hidden in the grass and watching for its prey is the crawling snake which swiftly darts upon the toad or mouse and gradually swallows it alive; the hapless animal is crushed by the jaws and covered with slime, to be slowly digested in furnishing a meal. The snake knows nothing about sin or pain inflicted upon another; he automatically grabs insects and mice and frogs to preserve his life. The spider carefully weaves his web to catch the unwary fly, winds him into the fatal net until paralyzed and helpless, then drinks his blood and leaves him an empty shell. The hawk swoops down and snatches a chicken and carries it to its nest to feed its young. The wolf pounces on the lamb and tears it to shreds. The cat watches at the hole of the mouse until the mouse cautiously comes out, then with seeming fiendish glee he plays with it until tired of the game, then crunches it to death in his jaws. The beasts of the jungle roam by day and night to find their prey; the lion is endowed with strength of limb and fang to destroy and devour almost any animal that it can surprise or overtake. There is no place in the woods or air or sea where all life is not a carnage of death in terror and agony. Each animal is a hunter, and in turn is hunted, by day and night. No landscape is so beautiful or day so balmy but the cry of suffering and sacrifice rends the air. When night settles down over the earth the slaughter is not abated. Some creatures see best at night, and the outcry of the dying and terrified is always on the wind. Almost all animals meet death by violence and through the most agonizing pain. With the whole animal creation there is nothing like a peaceful death. Nowhere in nature is there the slightest evidence of kindness, of consideration, or a feeling for the suffering and the weak, except in the narrow circle of brief family life. Man furnishes no exception to the rule. He seems to add the treachery and deceit that the other animals in the main do not practice, to all the other cruelties that move his life. Man has made himself master of the animal world and he uses his power to serve only his own ends. Man, at least, kills helpless animals for the pleasure of killing, alone. For man himself there is little joy. Every child that is born upon the earth arrives through the agony of the mother. From childhood on, the life is full of pain and disappointment and sorrow. From beginning to end it is the prey of disease and misery; not a child is born that is not subject to disease. Parents, family, friends, and acquaintances, one after another die, and leave us bereft. The noble and the ignoble life meets the same fate. Nature knows nothing about right and wrong, good and evil, pleasure and pain; she simply acts. She creates a beautiful woman, and places a cancer on her cheek. She may create an idealist, and kill him with a germ. She creates a fine mind, and then burdens it with a deformed body. And she will create a fine body, apparently for no use whatever. She may destroy the most wonderful life when its work has just commenced. She may scatter tubercular germs broadcast throughout the world. She seemingly works with no method, plan or purpose. She knows no mercy nor goodness. Nothing is so cruel and abandoned as Nature. To call her tender or charitable is a travesty upon words and a stultification of intellect. No one can suggest these obvious facts without being told that he is not competent to judge Nature and the God behind Nature. If we must not judge God as evil, then we cannot judge God as good. In all the other affairs of life, man never hesitates to classify and judge, but when it comes to passing on life, and the responsibility of life, he is told that it must be good, although the opinion beggars reason and intelligence and is a denial of both. Intellectually, I am satisfied that life is a serious burden, which no thinking, humane person would wantonly inflict on some one else.
