Since Israel has a far-right government, radical settlers have been stirring. They feel supported by controversial reforms that strain the democratic rule of law. For example, there are plans to have Supreme Court judges appointed by ministers and old evictions of illegal settlements are being undone.
VPRO Frontline talks to different populations to understand what they are fighting for. It is a portrait of a divided Israel. Is this the end of democracy?

As settlers rush to build new (and still illegal under international law) settlements, more and more people take to the streets in the cities to protest the reforms. Israel is shaking on its foundations, left and right are diametrically opposed.
