I’ve been wanting and trying to get the dark winter since the summer Welp, I haven’t gotten past the first room alone, and never made it to the final boss to even earn a cache, so guess I’ll just keep hoping because everytime I go to the dark zone there’s the same group spawn killing everyone the moment you enter

I did forget to mention that the chart does state that the Nemesis has a 50% drop rate on a Reconstructed Cache, so that at least should be a somewhat achievable goal without going for hours to get 15+ 👍

OwO I had no idea about the DZ blueprints!!!! SCORE ANOTHER VICTORY FOR DESCENT!! Hmm, maybe I should go ahead and make more guides for the mode. It's honestly my favorite thing in Div 2 (other than the story) and I love experimenting within it to discover crazy combos and interactions like how the Assault Turret and Striker Drone can actually trigger the chatterbox talent (I don't know if they can trigger Regicide, haven't been able to get those skills and talents together in a single run yet)

@@lazyowl9616 ... You're doing it wrong. Regicide is insane. You have to have the right talents and weapons for it though. It's best on a shotgun or sniper rifle, you can gib an entire squad of enemies instantly out of the spawns.

You need at least one maybe two good Weapon Damage talents - Rifleman is particularly potent since each pellet from a shotgun confers a stack, and every shotty AFAIK fires 8 or more per volley so you basically guarantee max stacks outright. Close & Personal is OK but requires kills, a does Pummel (not sure if Regicide kills trigger pummel for that matter)

So, I'm curious about that sniper build in the background. I consistently get the same head shot values around 50mil but I haven't been able to kill the True Sons gunners with a single shot. One first to destroy the helmet, and a second one to down them.

There's nothing you can do about armored enemies, unfortunately. Crossing their damage threshold breaks the helmet instead of automatically killing them. Main reason why I avoid Hyena activities when running that build, their rusher unit is a pain

Oh also just a thing missing from his list you can get specialist sidearms from the reconstruction cache to you can't use them unless you have the specialist equipped and it doesn't change the stat also you can't deconstruct them you can just have multiple and it is just useless

Hang on.... The Virginian is a dz exclusive? Maybe I misunderstood but that weapon (and others you mentioned) are in general (light zone) lootpool🤔

So, items in the "DZ Exclusive" category are called that because that was their original- and is still their primary drop source. There are a few additional ways you can collect them however, and perhaps one of those is where you got your Virginian. Those include: Countdown vendor, Named Item caches, Legacy Season caches, and Seasonal Manhunt bosses.

The parts of the gameplay with a shotgun are in the Descent game mode, which features entirely standalone progression and "builds." So I had no specialization active in there 👍 the shotgun was a Super 90

I kinda hated The Division 2 first because it loaded abysmally slow, and every once in a while it crashed. I disabled the HDR feature, and reinstalled and it is a bit more stable. But as I progressed I saw complex but rewarding jewel despite the sporadic crashes. It is now among the 10 games I have played consistently since my childhood, and I started to play with PONG.

Yeah! To my knowledge each Reconstructed Cache grants 1 blueprint, so however many of those you get would be how many blueprints you acquire

The term "DZ Exclusive Items" refers to a category of items in the game, that when first introduced were fully exclusive to the Dark Zone, hence the title. Since their introduction, some alternative methods to acquire them have been introduced. These include things like the Countdown Vendor, Named Item Caches, Seasonal Manhunt boss drops, and others. But people still refer to these items as "DZ Exclusive Items" as that makes it clear which items are being referred to. They have no association with Control Points, I think you got that confused with Seasonal Blueprints which were also covered in the video. What I covered in the video in relation to DZ Exclusive Items is the fact that you can now obtain blueprints to craft those items, and those blueprints can be exclusively found in Reconstructed Caches via the Descent game mode.

Bless you for covering this - 3690 SHD and didn't know about this - they do make it difficult. Follow up - am I correct that when I review my crafting station these 'missing' blueprints do not show up in the list, so I don't really know what I'm missing? Cause that's what I'm seeing. Unlike Exotics I don't yet have (looking at you Regulus) where I see an unnamed place holder in the bench, I don't have the same for the Dark Winter. Is this how it's supposed to be?

I know they've adjusted difficulty in solo and groups vs. the Nemesis, however I can't specifically recall overall balancing changes made aside from talents getting tweaked.

Unfortunately its gotten tougher. Goot talents, weapons and skills are later earned in the loops. Its better to do easy and medium rooms instead of harder rooms now. Solo you need decent talents or you wont make it as the scaling up of difficulty is more rapid, like they want you to keep to killing the nemesis instead of going past 10 loops. bullet kings talent and Pestilence talent don't seem to roll at all and might have been removed. Although me and my buddy only did 10 runs at it. Theres a general balance issue across the division aswell. Solo is fine, duo is fine. 4 player heroic control points and open world areas at times are just bullet sponge enemies coming out of everywhere. Enemies need a nerf to be more inline with a half mag to 3/4 magazine to a kill. Now its taking over a magazine with an all red build in a 4 man squad open world. @2k shd level and raid compatible builds i shouldn't have any issues. Teammates might be lacking a bit as we only had a all red striker Nd a skill healer but still, enemies are scaling up terribly

As explained in this video, there's a good chunk that are exclusive to Descent. There's also some old Seasonal blueprints that I believe would contribute to that 100 figure that have yet to be entered into the loot pool

I discovered that if you deconstruct skill attachments in your inventory, you will get the Manic Blueprint. Is this a glitch or a bug?? Does it change weekly?? I have deconstructed 6 skill attachments and received the Manic Blueprint everytime. What are your thoughts?? Thanks...

Hey! It is indeed a bug. I don't think you'll even find that blueprint in your inventory (unless previously acquired through Descent). It should get fixed up soon! 👍

Hey! Those two were originally exclusive to the Iron Horse Raid. To my knowledge that Raid is still the only place you can get those blueprints. But you can farm for individual items of them in Targeted Loot

Blueprint, no, but the item itself is in the general loot pool yeah. Countdown is a great way to go after it. Once you acquire it, the Reconfiguration blueprint will show up in Inaya's inventory 👍

Hey RG... it's me again. One last question about farming blueprints from level 4 control points. On Monday, my global settings was set at hard where i had to do 2 connecting side missions to the level up the control point to level 4. I completed 2 control points and received 2 blueprints from the chest in the supply room. Yesterday, i changed my global settings to heroic and completed 5 control points and did not get a single blueprint. What am i doing wrong?? Should i do a connecting side mission 1st or change my global settings back to hard or challenging?? i know that i have not collected all the blueprints because my count says 378 or 432 blueprints and my exotic blueprints is still 5 of 6. Please advise.

Are you able to find which blueprints you still need on the various lists? It's possible that you've completed the total number of blueprints available via Control Points. Some remaining ones I can think of would be the Season 3 blueprints (not yet added into the pool from my knowledge), DZ Exclusive blueprints (only available via Descent), and some more obscure ones only available from pre-order bonuses and other methods. All of those would contribute to that total 432 number. As for what you're potentially doing wrong, I can't think of anything. Doing CP's on Heroic is a guaranteed blueprint if you have any remaining to collect, which is why I wonder if you've maxed out the pool.

Unfortunately they explained in the recent Special Report stream that that kind of system is unlikely to happen due to how the mode is structured behind the scenes, however they are looking into changes that would expedite the overall process so we're not needing to spend hours on end on single runs

The problem is they are trying to focus on keeping it in the realm of Rogue-lite mechanics and ignore what the players want. This mode is basically an endless version of the summit. Allowing you to leave after a completed loop to save your spot in decent shouldn’t be a problem for them.

@dre5229 That's not how game development works, unfortunately. As they've explained it, when you enter Descent the game is creating a brand new character every time- one that's identical to yours. This keeps the data, progression, etc. separate. When you leave the mode or die, they immediately wipe that character, and all data associated with it. This allows the mode to exist within the game's technical "budget," as they don't have to try and juggle storing tons of new character saves if a save and return feature were to exist. Therefore, adding such a feature would mean going in and redoing how the entirety of the mode is structured on the back-end, and figuring out a way to allow the servers to store all of this new information when someone saves and logs out. This falls under the same category of why adding more stash space is currently unfeasible, cloud/server save space is at capacity and adding more would begin to create live server degradation (lag).

When you make a checkpoint at level 3 or 4, you get a new blueprint every time. Then you can make the new mod at the crafting station.

I call bull shit. I spent all last season farming level 4 control points for the missing blueprints and got some but others wouldn’t drop. Now they say they’ve added the remaining ones into the pool but that’s a lie because I’ve been farming for the past 3 days and haven’t gotten a single one of the missing blueprints. Descent isn’t worth it in the first place, the only thing that had me playing was the dz blue prints, but just to get one cache you have to spent 4 fucking hours in that hell hole, doing the same shit room after room. I did a run the other night, took over 4 hours to get to loot 17, got 2 caches and I didn’t get a single blue print. So what, I’m supposed to spend everyday playing that game mode 8+ hours a day in hopes it drops a blueprint? Nah

Just started play this game and im already annoyed. The farm of exotics is the worst farm I ever saw in a game. Its hard and boring as hell, do the same mission 100 time to get a exotic I already have is frustrating. Ive been doing the event thats happening now and bought the exotic boxes, I bought around 20 boxes and got the same exotics I already have on all the boxes. And I have only 4 weapons that is exotic and like 3 armor parts. Im done with this game.
