U know that when u swap to intimidate and spotter chest without changing ur coyote mask, ur crit chance was lower so u wasnt critting as much. U shouldve swap the mask to cheskaand try those again

The two best ARs in the game as far as accuracy and stability are the police m4 and the carbine 7. Just roll flatline on either one and you’re good.

That intimidate nerf really hurts. I will say that I do run it with the lower rpm shotguns like the Scorpio or six 12 as they don't stack as fast. You can have your intimidate proc'd almost full time. Plus you can run another damage dealing backpack with them now since you don't need adrenaline rush to give bonus armor any more. Makes the damage closer to using the chest at 100 stacks but the chest is still much stronger. Opens you up to run some fun galvanize builds though for buffing the team. Love the testing videos

Tried an all red build with memento, that darn heartbreaker buff didn't show up until I switch out for 4 blue cores (excluding memento), then when I relogged it worked again. And oh boy how it worked. Then all of a sudden next encounter, buff disappeared and I went * splat *. Things are buggy atm, between crashes, heartbreaker stacks not working, pulse not pulsing, proficiency toilet not giving credit for more than 1 item when "donating all trash", login queue (!!!), have to abort your normal play to go back and visit the proficiency toilet on a regular basis, and ofc playing in a group is just horrible when you run into the previous issues - it just gets magnified ( 4 ppl with random crashes, 4 ppl with bugged talents, 4 ppl needing to take breaks to empty inventory). Great build, but the game is borderline unplayable atm. Sorry for venting but I'm a few levels above "annoyed" right now tried countdown yesterday but gave up because we couldn't keep everyone ingame for the whole duration.

I've found that if the Heartbreaker buff stops working, swap a piece out to break the 4-piece bonus, then immediately swap it back in. Has fixed it every time for me so far.

What are the best talents to use on the heartbresker gearset? Guns. Been using the memento backpack and fox knee pads and the rest heartbreaker. Or should I use a different chest piece and backpack. Thought about using a fenris backpack. Any advice would be awesome! Anything to improve my heartbreaker build.

Heartbreaker chest gives you more damage than any talent on a high end chest so must use heartbreaker chest. However, if you have problem building up stacks and keeping it you can use a different chest. And for backpack you can use Heartbreaker to build up stack quickly or use a Groupo for more crit dmg and use talents like vigilance, companion(which i use), composer etc. If you want to use shotgun then use opportunistic talent on backpack. But I think most people just use vigilance but I personally hate it because taking shot losses the damage for 4secs( 3 secs if using The Gift) and I don't like losing that 25% damage for that long. If you use high end chest I would suggest try Obliterate and spotter see which ones higher. For close range intimidate still great.

I would recommend coyote and grupo backpack with vig or fenris backpack. Test it with police m4 and or kingbreaker. Those are the 2 top guns when it comes to dps with Heartbreaker.

I have a friend who is just a casual player and he dies a lot with all reds while me and my other friends keep slapping NPCs. My other friends used to make fun of him but then some people just playing the game for fun and want to enjoy their playtime with their buddies or solo and I get that very well. It takes a lot of hours to learn the mechanics and improve the playstyle. Even I had trouble when I use sniper builds I can barely snipe but after keep playing with it now I can pick decent headshots. In my opinion the more you play with a build the more you learn and get good at it plus not to mention you also learn where to position yourself in a mission. But I still believe you don't need all reds to considered as DPS. Just play the game you feel comfortable with :)

to play only legendary? .... you would have to use at least 2 protection or a friend who is healing you, if your friend does not heal you, your shield does not hold a charger and you would have to be more covered, you would end up a legendary only in an hour and a half

Especiall with kingbreaker, bro, it tales so long. I never ever come close to even half the stacks wirh hb chest. Thats why i run obliterate too. Spotter should be better by an almost insignificant amount because you have to build it up as well and when theres no enemies nearby you loose all your stacks. And spotter deals more dmg no matter what.

You can get an acs12 and put flatline on it as well. Rock n roll talent is 50% more ammo so instead of 20 you get 30. I went acs12 with the flatline power over the bullets

The reason intimidate is better than the HB chest is that it reaches max damage a whole lot faster than HB. It's not at all uncommon to never reach max HB stacks. Not to mention the weird cap / slow down mechanic . Using ceska intimidate, while an 11% drop on paper, will actually grant an additional multiplier as well as a significant boost in crit chance. Have the 50 HB stacks in addition to the memento trophy makes maintaining intimidate easier than it has been for a very long time. Your demonstration was very poor and unconvincing. Not only must you use ceska , but also the memento. In total you will be granted 88.4%-94% damage with HB and intimidate before memento. Reaching max HB stacks is much easier that way. Tbh though, my testing has only been in heroic and my comment is from a time long after heartbreaker was "rebalanced"
