Like, I'm pretty sure (I might be wrong) that your birthday in the normal calendar and your birthday in the lunar calendar coincide every 19 years. And they made Ruby 19. And they also gave her a name that is basically like Ruby Tuesday.

Honestly loved this episode. Was super fun and feels like something that just wasn't there with the writing in Jodie's era (despite Jodie giving a great performance) Only issue I really had was that the doctor could actually sing & dance. Think it could've done with being a bit more clumsier and mental like 11 dancing at Amy and Rory's wedding but everything else was fab! Edit: I forgot about the new sonic Screwdriver. Let's just not talk about that

Personally, I was sold on Jodie as the Doctor right away, but the writing was so off I stopped watching the show until very recently. Then again, I had also skipped a lot of Capaldi's last season cuz my interests were shifting anyway.

I mean how after that the companions didn't have to arrive together and leave together but there was hardly just one until Jon Pertwee but arguably The Brigadier and some of the other UNIT members count as companions, too.

Hated it, full of Dance and dance music however, I've had 60 years of watching Dr Who from day 1 but now it time to change and reflect our modern society. I'm sure these episodes will be extremely popular and had it not been for Russel T Davies and Steven Moffat, we would've never seen a lot of new Doctors and some incredible stories. So enjoy the show everyone for maybe another 60 years!

Ruby's whole reaction in the rooftop felt really off to me. First she sees the goblins and has no reaction to them and after that she is like "oh, my God. I'm on the rooftop". Girl, didn't you just went through the window a minute ago and climed up there? Where else were you expecting to be? Why are you surprised? They probably wanted her to be scared, but Millie didn't deliver that, in my opinion. Despite this moment, I really loved her performance overall.
