This was simply amazing watching. I feel bad though as usual that there wasn't enough time to ask the questions but all the same love each and everyone of them up on stage, they did wonders for their respective shows. I really wish I could have been there to see this but all the same thanks for putting it up.

I don’t count that finale as canon for Enterprise. It was a TNG redux episode (Pegasus). The holodeck program was just throwing random stuff out. As I see it, Tripp lived to die another day.😊

Trip changed after his sister's death. He became too unchecked and fatalistic, so he paid the price. I wouldn;t change his death, but I would resurrect him via Xyrillian hologram technology (Enterprise "Unexpected") or via Holographic universe of photonic life forms (Voyager "the Bride of Chaotica ").

I am unsure what & when you mean "resurrection". TMP 1979 can be considered the first BIG resurrection of Trek, although I would consider the 1973 animated series as the first resurrection & continuation, 4 years after TOS ended. Thus Deforest acted in the animated series & in the first set of movies. And he was also in the first TNG episode in 1987, reprising again as Bones, now at 137 years old, where he was both the tie-in to the old Trek & also of the passing of the torch to "the next generation" of new Trek characters & franchises. 11/28/23

John Billingsley's Phlox has usurped first place for my favourite line uttered by a regular character. For a long time it was Worf's, "Sir, I protest! I am not a merry man,' from Qpid, which works of so many levels. Phlox's stance after Malcolm complained in Dead Stop that it cannot be ethical to cause a patient so much pain during Reed's rehab following having his leg impaled the previous episode is an absolute killer. "It's unethical to harm a patient; I can inflict as much pain as I like," uttered with as complete a sh*t eating grin as you can imagine, is writing at it's finest. :D I even showed to my physiotherapist who also though it was hilarious.

I watched the original ST when it first came on TV. Loved all STs except Picard and Discovery, too serious too dark they lost that wonderful interaction in both. I missed Data and his magic. I think they lost that wonderful connection between the characters that gave ST it humanity.

Alex kurtsman practically destroyed star trek franchise iwth Discovery and Picard season 1 and 2. I don't think he knows anything about trek history. Thankfully he wasnt showrunner for Picard season 3. That was excellent and they knew their trek history. I tried to watch Discovety and wanted to like it but its awful. It didnt deserve 25 weeks. Kurtzman doesnt know how to tell good story and makes characters unlikable.

I had to stop when the doctor of Disco started saying "We are exploring diversity." Shut up. Star Trek has been diverse since the first episode in 1966. Back then, they also had time to explore the universe, make friends and tell good stories unlike Disco where everybody is distrustrusfull of everyone, betray eachother, are at war with the universe and everything is a secret. We don't watch Star Trek for Diversity. Diversity is a fact of life in Star Trek. Men were wearing dresses since 1966. There were also transgender and gay people in TNG, DS9... If your show is the exploration of diversity,,, You are 60 years to late and it is not Star Trek because this identity is not an issue in the future.

Interesting angle for a ST panel. Shame Deforest Kelly couldn't be there (and shame on all that he wasn't mentioned). Second HUGE PROPS for Gates McFadden for her emphasis on not preaching a right or wrong to people, but instead getting them to think for themselves about it. Finally, shame they didn't have Diana Muldaur present, though she was a relatively minor medical figure (or might it have caused friction with Gates McFadden?). IMO her character was a breath of fresh air and she was in general a significant part of the show. Now Bashir give us a break with the beard; you look like a Jeremiah Johnson wannabe ;-) PS I give up, who's the annoyingly effeminate guy who prances in at about the 10 min mark? Golly gee guy...
