This crowd doesn't even know how lucky they are. I've been to two of their shows and they don't play this song anymore, only new stuff. Don't me wrong, still a great show, just wanted to hear some Visiter stuff.
@moldypizza6 жыл бұрын
Last year I won tickets to a special San Francisco concert of theirs where they played the entirety of Visiter. It was an amazing experience. Hopefully they do a full tour of it.

To everyone that says Lame Crowd, it's probably that The Dodos took them on a journey through their mind, body, and soul. They walked and danced in their head because of Joe's Waltz the magnificent musical drug that causes thsi to happen to anyone who comes in contact

I'm 43. I want to be this when I grow up.
@YourDailyLaughz15 жыл бұрын
Was the crowd trying not to enjoy it on purpose? I think I saw someone nod their head along with the song at some part; either that or they were counting the floor tiles.

I'm sorry, but how else would you expect a crowd of people to react to such a beautiful song? You don't dance to Joe's Waltz. You FEEL Joe's Waltz. These people did not pay money to be at this show for no reason. They were present because of their mutual love for The Dodos. Don't be quick to assume such atrocities my friend. Much love.

This is going to sound weird, but I'm recommending you try dancing like no one is around once. You can just read this comment and go "fuck this guy" but it does feel good. Our ancestors danced, we dance, it's just something fairly human to do. Give it chance, I used to hate it, and everything associated with it, but it really makes me feel great now.

i see what u mean but the band feeds of the crowd.....well when i perform i do anyway
@Ieatbabyseals11 жыл бұрын
Next time you're at a show just try bobbing with the rhythm, clapping, and just all around participating. I swear you'll have a great time and you'll probably end up dancing.. Eventually. I swear it is a freeing experience to be able to go to a show and just let loose.
@TheRiteOne10012 жыл бұрын

Maybe it's just me personally. I never was a fan of dancing. Music doesn't move me physically, only emotionally.
@TheRiteOne10012 жыл бұрын
You don't pay for an amoeba show....They are free. And i guess i would expect some emotion...they almost look bored, probably cause they just showed up for the free show.

Great album band. Live? Not so much. He seems to sing very low in his register, and when you see them live you can barely hear him because he can't project. When I saw them it took me a couple songs to be sure they weren't just the opening the act, they sounded so different.
