Crystal, if I may offer a suggestion as an RN with lots of experience in preparing injections: inject air into your vial before withdrawing medication. If giving a 2cc injection, pull back the syringe plunger to the 2cc mark, inject the 2cc of air into the vial, then withdraw 2 cc of medication. This will prevent formation of a vacuum in the vial and make withdrawal of the last bit of medication a lot easier. Love, love, love your videos!

Wow the girls are really looking plump. Can’t wait to see how many they have. Dinky is sure looking pretty big girl. Wondering how many babies she is going to have. Birdy or Betsy are looking big also. I am not able to tell the two apart. Seen good view of her and Dinky. Can’t wait the time is coming up fast. Like everyone else counting down the days till due dates. I even wrote down which doe is due when.

Cant wait for your kidding season to start. My sons and I LOVE watching the birthing videos. We have two does we think are due beginning of May (both were exposed to a buck). We shall see. My boys have been practicing checking for ligaments since we found you last summer! They are wanting to badly to help deliver babies, including getting our delivery bag in order. They are definately motivated at 10 and almost 12!

Just got my soap in last night, and have I been missing out! As a guy, I guess it's more "socially acceptable" to be using that detergent crap from the store. But since hearing about all the hype of going back to more natural soap, I've been wanting to try some out. And I'm so glad I decided to go with yours. The charcoal and the cucumber mint are great and aren't too "girly" if that makes sense. I used the charcoal one last night and the cucumber mint one this morning, and my skin has never felt so refreshed. I had no idea that my skin could even feel that way. It was almost like I had put lotion on. Absolutely amazing. Thank you so much, Crystal and family! I'll definitely be back for more. On a side note, can't wait to see all the new kids. I hope this season goes smoothly for you.

I’ve been having a lot Anxiety over the last week. I know this sounds crazy but it really helps keep my mind occupied. So I decided to do a spreadsheet on how many kids each buck sired on the ranch. Then I did their grandkids. Wow Lucky win the prize hands down. I went back over how many kids each doe had in the past. Well my prediction for this year is 55 kids, 2 for each younger girls and 2 to 3 for some of other but there are the over achievers. Thanks for the video.

GREAT info about the CD&T immunizations! I had a goatling that died from overeating disease: the progression was exactly as you described. (this happened 60 years ago) I did not write a feeding schedule & gave her an extra bottle --- that's all it took. Thank you for this important information. So much has been learned since those days. Prevention is a wonderful thing!

Are you going to let Emily start checking ligaments this year? You have taught her well. She can tag them green for hard ligaments, yellow for squishy and recheck then red for she can't feel any and you recheck and you will know who to check and put in the stall or the close corral. Then of course she will be milking and bottle feeding when the babies start to hit the ground. I think Emily is going to be the one who will want to be a vet tech and stay with the goaties.

We keep out antibiotics and immunizations that require refrigeration in a cooler bag when transporting from the store as well as when we are administering them. If we predraw up, they are kept in the fridge overnight until administration when giving a large amount.

They are having two rounds of kidding times. This is the first group to kid and later the second group will be bred. They are trying to have milk all year long.
