Oh the size of his face in comparison to the matted mess of concrete hair.... And then his size after saving.... How that poor, innocent baby survived in that state is a testament to his will to survive despite the neglect he experienced at the hands of people. How anyone could just walk past him and not feel compelled to help us beyond my comprehension. It’s a wonder he could still see. He just seemed like he had lost all hope. The state of poor Julian sickened and angered me. I am so thankful you rescued him Valia, poor poor baby was trapped, it probably hurt him to move much. I think he may have been groomed a long time ago and remembered how he felt after because he stood so still for 5 hours! I hope he will always feel as good as he does now, just being himself 💖

So sad, hard to see a face and living being under all that dirty, matted fur. This was similar to how I found my Pommie mix on the streets of LA. Like you w/Julian, I didn't want to get attached b/c I already had two elderly dogs at home. Also, I was struggling myself. Nevertheless, Friday stayed, and he was the best boy he could be.💕🐾🌈
