The best dog I ever had was a Baja rescue I named Suggs. She was covered with so many ticks when I met her that a good chunk of her back was furless. It was a tick colony on her back. But she recovered with some medicine, came back to live with me in Oregon, and lived for another 5 years. Just a great little dog, who loved to run and play. RIP Suggs.
