The Domovoi: Helpful House-elves or Griefing Goblins?

I am Russian and I remeber that even in the 90s when I was a child I used to leave candy for the Domovoi! And if I couldnt find something I asked Domovoi to bring it please back. And lots of people still sit for some time before leaving for a long time!

Did you name it? The sitting before leaving is interesting I love it how those old traditions still stick around until modern terms

@@Wade_Wiley no I didn't name it. There was a cartoon about a little Domovoi called Домовёнок Кузя (Brownie Kuzya) and I think a lot of people in our times think of him when they hear 'Domovoi'. We even have memes with him! Although the bearded old guy depictions are still used in souvenirs and knick-knacks.

Thats the plan, its a bit of a passion project as always been interested in folklore, just gonna take a bit of time to make them :)

@@Wade_Wiley It's a fantastic video. I like LotR and D&D, but in a way the true history of these stories has been lost in pop culture. It's amazing to think that belief in ghosts, fairies, and such were once a part of people's daily lives. Informative, great visuals!
