It's royalty-free music. The kind of stuff tv and radio stations use for weather, traffic, stings, idents, all that kind of stuff. We want to be very careful that when we use music, we're not trampling all over someone's rights. Royalty-free music seemed the way to go.

As a local living in England, may I say this is doing Ireland nor the North Coast no favours at all. I cannot speak for the South, but when I was at school we had English newspapers, Radio and TV. We should, in theory, get the same news as the rest of Britain. Maybe in the South, news is scarce, or they don't bother to read a newspaper. I want to think Ireland is not behind the times, but I'm having a hard time proving it. I really hope I am wrong. Please tell me Ireland is NOT out of touch.
