There's absolutely no reason for anyone to dislike this video!
@PFranciscooo5 жыл бұрын
Well, everyone it's entitle to have an opinion. Some seem to dislike the 'whispering', aside the fact I specify in the description I'm performing the second voice... just as I play it with my band. Someone out there didn't like the fact it was not atomically synchronized to the studio version's tempo and so on. I guess you just can't take it personal. These are my interpretations of these songs, and that is as subjetive as appreciation is.

Why are you whispering? Were your parents asleep?

I really don't remember if they were, but I'm doing the second voice. As you can hear in the studio recording, there is a whispering voice below Jim's.
@Icybearg6 жыл бұрын
@ Ron Doge....Seriously was that the best comment you could come up with???
@fmfetish6 жыл бұрын
That is correct. On the original recording there is a second voice track of Jim Morrison whispering the lyrics over the track of his own voice.

You play the Rhodes so smooth. It's very hard to play it that way. I don't if my Rhodes has a messed of action or it's my hands, but I find myself having to plunk down on the keys a lot more. Also, what year is your Rhodes?

Me das cierta envidia… Hoy día es muy difícil ver teclistas del nivel que había en los 70… ¡Muchas felicidades!

This rendition of Riders on the Storm absolutely blows me away. I think it's as good as the original. Ray would be proud. Can you tell me about the instruments. Fender Rhodes obviously, but which one (year, etc). Same for the piano bass. Also, what type of amps are you using? I've got to buy some of this stuff so I can have a go at it myself. Total bliss. You are good! Thank you.

One is a 1979 Mark I 73 Stage Piano. It may look strange cos' it had no lid when I bought it. I made one flat for obvious reasons n_n. The other is a piano bass built out of a 1980 Mark II 54. I knew the chances of finding an original bass here in Lima were almost nonexistent and since it wasn't in a great shape, I gave it a new life =P. The amps I use are virtual but I heard the Fender Twin Reverb fits perfect on a Rhodes. Thanks a bunch for the words man! =)
